Where did you get your brake upgrade from? ive been looking all over for my jato. already had the stock one fail once. All I was able to find is another stock replacement which are junk. great video btw. I love these TRX engines and its nice to see someone that knows what the hell they are doing showing someone like me that has little experience what they can do to modify one. Thanks Woogie!
To be honest with you I've already thought about that after breaking we're going to change the Conrad and upgrade to ceramic bearings I can get those from RCR as well but good call Traxxas is known for crap bearings
You should try the buku pipe, it has a lot of adjustability especially when you have a servo controlling the convergant cone. They include to cones and you can alter the hole size, if he still sells them. I use it and love it. Good low end, mid and top end if you size the header length right along with the cone size.
Just blew my good motor and was looking around for maybe better gearing or engine but after seeing this I’m going to get these parts and put it on my full metal v1 Tmaxx and see if I can get it to wheelie again
If you pinch the sleeve to get good compression back, add a 3 stage clutch or even just alloy shoes to the stock clutch, seal the exhaust good, and tune it right. It’ll pull wheelies all day! I just got mine pulling wheelies into 2nd gear, and it was a pretty much dead engine. I got an 11k carb coming to just compare, but my T-Maxx almost has too much power!
There are hot racing upgraded vented brakes with carbon fiber pads every now and then you can still find them on eBay but I got them from my local hobby shop
I used some sway bar links from one of my fifth scales and threaded. The two links together bolted them to the STRC drag bar , took me a while to figure it out but I'll show it one day and one of my future videos. It's actually adjustable side to side and hire and lower
Technically rcr is bad for there prices, if you look at the actual modded crankshaft versus this this just looks like a dude put it in a drill press and drill those holes into the crankshaft and cut off the corners

The header is a Nova rose c41-015 on road header and the pipe is a THS racing pipe
What clutch is that?? Doing the same build for my Drag Slayer 4x4 & looking to upgrade clutch to the best I can get

What wheelie bar kit is that I had to make my own lol
I had to customize it. It is an STRC /wealey bar that I customize. I showed how I did it a couple of videos ago

Traxxis rods saw that crank and instantly got an EPO lol I just broke a factory Traxxis rod in my 3.3 it’s not even had a full gallon ran through
Believe it or not, I'm still on the original piston and rod and I've run the snot out of it
Should be able to use the carb arm from the 3.3 carb
No the slide is bigger than the 33 it will not fit

STRC I modified it to fit. I also use some 5th scale parts on it

Everyones using up these 3.4 carbs and not leaving any for actual losi 3.4 engines!! Just use the os11k and save the 3.4s! Theyre discontinued!
I can’t even find any OS 11K carbs without buying an entire OS motor. I’ve looked everywhere
