Besides most of the emotions he feels at 100% during this fight weren't even featured before in the series, so... what's up with that, Tachikawa? :
@@raccoonchild Thats so true.. am not actually complaining though because the animation was Godly. And adding it doesnt mean theyre stating the obvious but rather, adding interest like what the author initially intended to do.
God this show gets it. It’s not just learning a lesson, or sticking by a goal you’ve set, or changing for the better. Mob Pysho says: “Hey, you’ve bettered yourself, you learned your lesson. Now KEEP learning that lesson.” The difference between justice and cruelty is usually just a choice, and every turn in the road of life, you have to keep making that choice to be better. It’s the hardest and most unforgiving part of being human, and Mob is finally coming to grips with it, while also having a fucking psychic showdown in a floating skyscraper, battling for the fate of the world! That’s how you tell an interesting and engaging story.
@@Stuyarmy The point is that even though Mob has learned so much throughout the series and uses his psychic powers to help people rather than hurt, he's still human, and prone to be corrupted. When he lets out all his rage and power in this scene, he's smiling, laughing maniacally, doing everything he can to crush his opponent without mercy. Basically, even though he's fighting for the fate of the world, he let his control over himself slip, despite all the progress he made. He became like Suzuki, just for a moment. And it's only when Mob notices his brother looking up at him in fear and awe that he realizes "oh shit, I let my emotions get the better of me once again." That's relearning a lesson. No matter how well you understand or try to live by your own moral code, the hardest part is continuing to make that choice and NOT give in to your basic lust for power or your fits of rage in the name of "I'm good and my enemy is bad."
@@Stuyarmy You can see it in this moment when Mob looks at Ritsu and realizes that even if he managed to change so much, he has to still keep looking at himself because there's still a possibility he will lose against his own powers. He has to "keep learning", even if it seems like he learned enough. But there is never enough of learning.
Me during episode 3 of season 1: "I just want Mob to be happy, he deserves to be happy and able to laugh" Me during this fight: *"Wait no this isn't what I meant."*
The animation is as spectacular as ever but I think the voice acting should also get a shout out, especially to Setsuo Ituo. You can really see and feel the love and attention in every aspect of the show.
the way mob suddenly didn’t sound like mob at all… it sent chills up my spine hearing him laugh with enjoyment. incredible job to the team for that little plot twist!
This fight has a whole new perspective when you think about the Season 3 finale and reveal that Mob has been suppressing Shigeo Kageyama This is important because Toichiro was right, he actually brought out the real Shigeo briefly before Mob suppressed him again
Rather than creepy, I feel there's something so satisfying about seeing mob laugh while going all out with destructive intent after knowing how much he's had to hold back all his life
In this moment I think mob was truly free as he sees his powers as indulgent and op only to be used in intense situations but it’s sorta like the super man dilemma “ I feel like I live in a world made of cardboard. Always taking constant care not to break something. To break someone. Never allowing myself to lose control, even for a moment, or someone could die.”
I don't blame Mob for losing it, being able to just go apeshit on someone who wouldn't really judge you can be pretty appealing. He has to hold himself together all the time so that tiny moment must have felt like a breath of fresh air 0:56 This dude must be so grateful Mob actually cared about people
This is really amazing. This episode was amazing. Everything was amazing. That terrified look his little brother gave him grounded him back to reality. These two are living in a world made of cardboard, and being able to finally put effort into a fight was something neither of them experienced before. So Shigeo really lost himself to the power. Of finally being able to cut loose. He actually enjoyed it. But one look at his brother was enough to make him realize he was wrong. God the characters in this show are just so great so much emotion. And nice to anime brothers done right. For some reason brothers don't often get along in anime....
@@oogenesis i agree. Even when Ritsu was trying to pick a fight with Shigeo. He may've genuinely felt what he said but in the end he still loves his brother too much to hold onto his animosity.
Mobs power is based on his emotions. So in theory if he releases all his emotions he is in turn releasing all of his power, vice versa. The final fight was mobs most expressive moment.
Sorry boros vs saitama surpasses every anime in terms of good animation and visuals, put I'll admit the beat Choreographic fights are in naruto shippunden
Of all the relationships in MP100, I think I enjoy the brothers the best. That accident from when they were children defined the both of them so much. We watch Ritsu put on an air of maturity out of fear and resentment towards his brother, then become cocky when he gains powers of his own, and eventually become very devoted to his brother in the end. After there's points where Ritsu almost seems to become childlike around his brother, speaking softer and seeking him out. And then for Mob, I'm pretty sure it was the inciting moment that made him go seek out Reigan. He loves his brother dearly and despite his policy of no violence bringing him to tears when he accidentally does, he's quickly acknowledged his willingness to break that rule when someone he loves, often Ritsu, is in danger. By this point both of them have grown so much but you can still see how that trauma lingers in both of them.

I don’t think this had much meaning behind it
@@Stuyarmy it doesn't have to, but for me it does~ i'm just one opinion
Kyle Noguera hmm it’s engaging and interesting but I’m still putting the pieces together and I just don’t see the point to all of it
@@Stuyarmy The point is that even though Mob has learned so much throughout the series and uses his psychic powers to help people rather than hurt, he's still human, and prone to be corrupted.
The only time in anime where a flashback actually limits your strength.
Me during episode 3 of season 1: "I just want Mob to be happy, he deserves to be happy and able to laugh"
Me during this fight: *"Wait no this isn't what I meant."*
The animation is as spectacular as ever but I think the voice acting should also get a shout out, especially to Setsuo Ituo. You can really see and feel the love and attention in every aspect of the show.
I feel like people forget that Mob was straight up ready to commit a felony there for a bit
Damn I wouldn't blame mob for enjoying this. This is probably the first time mob went all out (consciously)
WASNT THIS LIKE THE ONLY TIME IVE EVER HEARD MOB LAUGH??????????
Ya
remember this guys, this is the first and the last time we'll this guy Psycho
Wait for season 3 :)
@@IamDruMzTV I wish there was
@@thesadanimations it will^^
I LOVE mobs crazy laugh and smile
the way mob suddenly didn’t sound like mob at all… it sent chills up my spine hearing him laugh with enjoyment. incredible job to the team for that little plot twist!
Mob physco S2 is anime of the year and nothing will top this.
Attack on titan season 3 part 2
As much as I love AOT and I know how good the rest of season 3 will be I still think Mob Psycho S2 will be the best of this year
Bnha and aot could but it's really unlikely
@@user-nh1hc7dq6h Yeah I mean I love both AOT and BNHA but this season of Mob Psycho was absolutely amazing.
Brayant Reyes it's supposed to be that good huh?
Mobs laugh is so weird and creepy lmao
I guess Monday’s are back to being the worst day of the week again since I have nothing to look forward to watching...
FACTS
Until season 4 bnha
@@scotty2583 season 4? isn`t this season 2?
I'm gonna rewatch it just for my sanity's sake
Dororo's still pretty good, idk
Mobs laugh 🤩🤩 so SINISTER!!!
This fight has a whole new perspective when you think about the Season 3 finale and reveal that Mob has been suppressing Shigeo Kageyama
This is important because Toichiro was right, he actually brought out the real Shigeo briefly before Mob suppressed him again
*I definetly died when I heard his laugh*
It was crazy!
*1:18** MY HEART💔*
That clap felt like a you screwed up clap
Hearing Mob laugh and grin about fighting all out awoke something in me.
And then I felt guilt because he was ashamed of that.
Inb4 "UH HE'S A TEENAGER"
Pffft-
I don't blame Mob for losing it, being able to just go apeshit on someone who wouldn't really judge you can be pretty appealing. He has to hold himself together all the time so that tiny moment must have felt like a breath of fresh air
0:56 This dude must be so grateful Mob actually cared about people
Mob laughing scared the fuck out of me
I liked it when Mob was enjoying the fight.
Yo, Mob’s voice actor is fucking amazing
That was "???" Laughing, he was able to be out for a bit whiteout mob being completely enraged
Are we ever gonna get a full flashback of how Mob hurt Ritsu when they were kids? Cuz I kinda wanna see that happen...
RachelFC It’s most likely going to be shown in season 3 finale. Especially in Ritsu’s realization. Tho I’m not sure, it would be interesting.
Riiight? Same here, really! What happened ib the time where Mob blacked out, then woke up with Ritsu and the three bullies bleeding profusely?
And then broccoli happened.
0:59 bro, if this guy wanted to take over the world, he could. Easily.
0:08 I love that, it looks so casual yet is powerful asf.
Things never to say to Mob:
*That's all?*
For some reason brothers don't often get along in anime....
the kageyama bros have one of my fave sibling relationships in anime for this reason. it's so complex and so loving.
@@oogenesis i agree. Even when Ritsu was trying to pick a fight with Shigeo. He may've genuinely felt what he said but in the end he still loves his brother too much to hold onto his animosity.
A bit like the Sho and Shinra duo
Mobs power is based on his emotions. So in theory if he releases all his emotions he is in turn releasing all of his power, vice versa. The final fight was mobs most expressive moment.
This is how much one desverse to be praised

Mob psycho got the best visual fights in anime hands down and the best choreographic fights is naruto and the best strategic fights is hxh.
And most emotional fights are Gintama.
Sorry boros vs saitama surpasses every anime in terms of good animation and visuals, put I'll admit the beat Choreographic fights are in naruto shippunden
And the best emotional fight would be all for one vs all might FOR ME
Crazy Gamer10 nah it was emotional but I think you should see Gintoki vs Takasugi.
JOJO got the best visual fights
Crunchyroll is about to have a field day with all the clips from this episode 😂
0:18 PLANETARY DEVESTATION
it would be cool to see an alternative version of mob that got consumed by power and don't hold back, just for the sake of fanservice lol
0:33 id recognize that laugh anywhere
1:11 is my favorite voice line this episode. I have no idea, maybe it's because of the emphasis in the last word.
Mine too
Remember ; Mob is just 14 , imagine how terrible could he become when he turns into like , idk 20 or something? Ohhhh lord save the villian.
mob's emotions during this fight be like 📈📉📈📉📈📉
Aka a typical stock market
Oh boy, the animation was just on point!
That was exceeded my expectations from the manga.
*Thank you BONES for not ruining a gem like this!*
Remember that mob is just a middle schooler here.
Now Imagine 20 more years of experience
This anime has the best animation I’ve seen it look so clean
He protecc
He attacc
But most of all
He get smacc
This studio knows to do correctly its job
god this was so good......i LOVE how they did 100% ecstasy like theres something about mob’s laugh that just seems really.....wrong
No offense to the sweet bean but his laugh sounds scary as hell.
I really liked Mob's voice actor, he has to voice a mostly emotionless character with insane outbursts and nails both
@@justafranz I agree! All of the voice actors for mp100 just do such a fantastic job at the characters they voice.
Dear lord! Mops laugh is so creepy! No. Him smiling like that is creepy!
So we gonna ignore the fact that Mob just pulled a "Planetary Devastation"
Both Sho & Mob we’re doing it with ease
Reminder that this is the first time we have seen Mob laugh, he couldn't laugh since he was little as shown in Dimple cult arc.
*Chibaku Tensei* 🙏
I don’t ever want to see mob loose control of his power.
I personally think it would be interesting
@@birdyghostly same
Of all the relationships in MP100, I think I enjoy the brothers the best.
Bruh his laugh sounds like he’s speaking in spaces
And they said kazoos couldn't be menacing
And remember kids, that's not his full power. But full emotions.
Mob: *laughs
Ritsu: *looking at him
Mob: oh I'm sorry hold on 😂🤚😐😠
BODY IMPROVEMENT! FIGHT ON!
