I hope there's also an episode of them reacting to actors reading thirst tweets because korean celebrities who read thirst tweets get so embarrassed. I feel like they're just not that open about sexuality so it would be fun seeing them react to thirst tweets for celebs. 😂
So true when she said there are lot of mean comments overseas than Korea I was bruh what are you talking about your country literally bullies people a lot and you're saying other countries have lot of mean comments than yours.... I may sound harsh here but that's true.... And the fact that girls themselves said that Korea have more harsh comments 😂
@@chickennoodlesoup3301 they are nobody not even me said America was better. I am saying that both countries have issues with online bullying. But to say Korea doesn't and only America is ignoring the issues of kpop ideals S when online bullying becomes too much for them to handle.
It wouldn't be acceptable for any reason... imagine saying that about any race... I didn't like Mr. Strange race/gender swapping in Tilda, but it wouldn't be acceptable to say "I hate all women" or "I hate all white people" there either.
Hope you all see this. You're beautiful people, inside and out. Mean comments are people projecting, hope they can get to a better and happier place in life, don't let them bother you. You guys aren't boring at all!! Just keep being yourself!
i love the girls so muchhh, the only thing that made me ???hmhm??? was the pd saying "apparently there are many mean tweets or comments in overseas compared to korea"....WHAT? knetz are literally in-sa-ne with idols. these past few weeks have been hell for exo, skz and enhypen in this aspect!
Americans are more easy going when it comes to hate comments I think. Especially since the comments are a one time thing not constant bullying that some K-Idols might go through
The difference here in the states as compared to Korea. We don't take things like criticism so seriously. We don't let haters ruin our day. Especially netizen bullies.
OMG the fact that she didn't see what the insult was because she was busy admiring how astonishingly breathtaking anne hathaway's beauty is so me lmao. I had to rewatch it too 😭
Some of these are meant as mean tweets, but I think it's also a bit of cultural difference. Some of these could sometimes count as "banter" lol - there's a level of insulting friends that's just friendly jabbing. Some people do take it too far online - being too casual with people they don't know because the internet makes you feel closer to people than you really are. I've seen this a lot in cross-cultural fandom. A lot of westerners comment on things they like with stuff like "thanks I hate it" (if an art makes them very emotional & they think it is very beautiful but the emotions hurt lol) or "this is sickening" to say something is very good. But they don't realize they are commenting to someone from another culture and hurt their feelings, etc.
If The Intern is the first movie that comes into your mind when you hear/see De Niro, you need to watch some older movies with him! He's a legend. Classic upon classic for decades.
I'm very disappointed that they didn't react to "I'd rather listen to an auto-tuned queef played on a continuous loop than listen to Ariana Grande's new album" because now I'll never know if Korea has a word for that
I feel like across cultural boundaries you girls still get it. Lot's of haters but they don't matter, unless it's for entertainment. These people are at the top of their game, some rando is going to bring them down!? Okay. Super fun you girls are great!
I love what Youngju said 0:29 "I leave comments when I want to cheer them up" rightttt, if we don't have anything good to say the best thing is just to keep it ourselves or I don't know write that down on a piece of paper and burn it after hahaha

Those are bad but honestly many of the comments from the Korean part of the Internet are much worse. At least here no one is saying to them casually to commit suicide or anything like that. Yeah, there's much less cursing in Korean social media but all the mean comments are extremely blunt and for even less than those comments here. IDK why the host acts like it's not common in Korea when even the girls seem to disagree. There are mean people everywhere, only the shades of that meannes change according to different societies. There's no shame in admitting that.
full offence but what did the start mean 'compared to Korea' lmao they literally have one of the highest death numbers bcs of cyber bullying, hate comments online esp with people in the public eye lmao??????????
It’s hilarious when people get mad at the comments and don’t realize with american humor, we tend to be sarcastic, nonchalant and actually amused by hate comments. Some of them celebs who seemed angry were not actually angry Or don’t seem phased by it, they were bringing the same energy the tweeter gave in their tweet back to whoever tweeted the tweet with a clapback. 😂 Us Americans for the most part have this attitude of, “well you can kiss my @ss if you don’t like me 😌😊”. Now for the celebs who were, i think british, seem to have more of a dry, nonchalant and careless type response to hate comments. A bit similar to americans but more subtle in how big of a reaction they give.
Watching MJ especially get upset and unload on people about Tom Hiddleston was hilarious. Leave her man alone y'all lol. I love this channel though these girls have some of the best reactions to stuff. PDs directors keep up the great work. Ladies, we love you and I look forward to watching your videos.
I think both countries are tied for mean hate comments but tbh Korea fan culture goes a step further with how they treat their idols and the pd in the back gaslighting himself into thinking they aren’t that bad SK had literal saesangs and if things don’t go their way they spread allegations and another example they send trucks with hate messages outside peoples work place another thing they boycott someone getting married and having a family like oof
Yeah. I was surprised too. He is in the movie as a main but to not mention Godfather 2 or any of the stuff he's actually nominated/won for is just surprising.
while I agree that a lot of those comments were lame is kinda funny comparing them to koreans ones, because korean haters sounds like middle schoolers all the time 😅
The Scarlett Johansson one needs context for the first part. The person who tweeted that was replying to an article saying they cast Scarlett to play an Asian character and did so because "Asians are not expressive and don't have the emotional range to act" and the person was mad Scarlett was taking acting jobs from Asians when there's plenty of Asian actresses that could play the role. I remember seeing that tweet on my tl and then when it came up again after the show. A lot of people that went to the tweet stopped being mad when they realized the context. I agree with the first part of the tweet. Scarlett acts the same way in every movie she's been in. They claimed they wanted emotional range but cast Scarlett Johansson. I wonder if Scarlett knows that since she only reacted to the second part of that tweet.

Should've shown "Mumford and sons" one... that one is THE legend
For context, the first tweet about Scarlett Johansson was in response to her getting cast in Ghost in the Shell. That's why her race was mentioned.
