I've been homeless for over a year now, my family disowned me because I decided to follow my dreams and ended up losing so many things including my mom, the woman of my dreams, and now my dad.... The only huge difference between the cancer taking the loved one away is that my bestfriend died of an overdose & I blame myself for not being able to save her as I always knew but, this time I was too proud to admit I felt that I should ask her if she needed me. i lost my dad to cancer june 2018, this song was shown to me by a friend and i still fully cant listen to it without tears but im grateful for it too. makes me feel not so alone
This song have been playing a lot lately.. Even tho this song is about Snak’s father and in my case it’s about my friend. A good friend of mine just passed away recently because of cancer. Just 37 years old.. This song really helps!

This track really touches my heart, my mom got leukemia and properly doesn't have a long time left. I listen to it so any times every day, but hearing it live last week in Copenhagen was an experience that I can't describe. It's only been a couple months and this song has helped me work through it in so many ways and still brings me to tears every time it comes on. Thank you for putting words to everything I haven't been able to find the words for.
My dad didnt want us to watch him pass.. after a week of being with him in Hospice, he held on until the night that we went home to get some sleep... he waited till we were gone...

This fucked me up when it came out all these years ago. But now, a year after losing my adoptive father, the best dad I could've ever asked for, I literally can't hear a single word of this song without crying. The wound is immediately fresh again, feels like it did when I got the news he'd passed, but I keep coming back. Snak gave us all something really special with this song, forever grateful for that.
