I remember you building that bench, and saying " I am not a woodworker, I just wanted something that I could practice video production". I have been woodworking for over forty -five years, and I watch for your enthusiasm , and your imaginative approach to projects. Jason, by the way, you have turned into a fine woodworker. I wish you many years of prosperity to come.
I want to hear about the large saw blade with your logo on the wall. Probably not worth a whole video, but it would be interesting to hear the back story. Also, I found your channel around 2016 from your flip top bench video. It was fun to see the unnecessary walnut electric flyswatter again. One of my favorite projects you've ever done.
@bytesizedengineering thanks Zach! That saw blade belonged to my grandpa - I found it buried in his barn when we cleaned the place out. I hauled it down to Kentucky the first time I visited Jeremy and he lasered my logo into the rust.
Nice video, Mark. I've been following your channel and the podcast for a while now. I very much enjoy these shop tours. What I really would like to see are those polar bears you briefly mentioned 😉
Great video. Regarding the sag. Steel plate bolted to back of main bottom supports may help. Thx for transparency. You’re blessed in many ways. But especially in walnut!
Aww.. you didn't go into the reason your sawstop doesn't have any branding labels anymore :P Great to see you posting again. I can't wait to see the next 2 weeker you're working on. As always, keep up the great work
Nice layout! I need to organize my shop, but “quick” projects keep coming up so I keep procrastinating on the cleaning. And the dramatic pause at the end was great lol!

Man I sure appreciate all that! And thanks for following along with my nonsense for so ling!

Totally sensible layout! I would enjoy that space and I'm certain you do! Good to see a post from you!
Thanks so much!

Those tundra pandas tend to be more of a fever dream that come wondering around after months of my own involuntary hibernation.
@@GunflintDesigns involuntary hibernation sounds like an introvert's (me) goal in life.
Now I need to reorganize mine....But it's constantly in flux! It is nice to find those workflow efficiencies from a better layout!
Totally agree! It's hard to make a big overhaul while you're using everything.
As I have a double car garage shop myself, it's good to see what space saving ideas I can use! Thanks!
Glad to help!
I think you’ve got it setup really well now! I really like the layout and how it would work with moving through a project.
Thanks Bruce!
I also like to use 5 gallon buckets for garbage scraps. I use a larger Ace Hardware trash can for potential reuse scraps.
Great video.

Thanks! And that just might do the trick.

I'm afraid the "2 weeker" is a commissioned job on a time crunch. I don't think I'll have time to take so much as a picture on this one!

I'm glad someone got that reference!
Very nice! Jealous!
Thanks!
I clicked because of the "behold, my stuff thumbnail" :D
If it worked on just one person then it was worth it!
I’ve heard you have a million dollars worth of tools, when do we see that shop?😂
Private tours by appointment only.
Such a great space man!!!! The new CO2 laser working, still?
Thanks! So far it is!
