We’ve lived here about 15 years and absolutely loved it-we moved to Hawaii a few years back but came right back!! It’s a bit expensive but we’re used to it & every penny is worth it to us for the perfect weather & all around beauty it provides!! You nailed it-it’s paradise ❤️ People are friendly & lots of wonderful families too! So many things to do in close proximity -local libraries & activities provided by the city ❤️🙏🏼 we feel blessed to live here 🥳
thats not true, The closet freeway is the 5fwy, which is always packed, as for the high schools they are about 2 to three miles away from Laguna Nigel. its not far from the beach, but LN is a small city. Crown Valley Parkway is a main thoroughfare that leads to mission Viejo mall. font get me wrong its a nice place, as Ive lived in this area for 30 yrs. but in the last decade there has been 2 new cities built in the area that has made traffic insane, as the highways haven't grown with the new homes. it makes for alot of people, jammed into small areas.
Thanks flashbang for your comments. I’m still scratching my head a little bit to see what you disagree with with regards to the traffic. I drive in the city every day and compared to every other community around us. There is significantly less traffic in Laguna Niguel than any other city I know. I never have a challenge in commuting from one place to another. Yes the five freeway is the closest freeway and a times especially rush-hour it does get busy like any other major highway in southern California however, living in Laguna Niguel is still a dream
worth a mention for sure but I still think HOAG in Mission Viejo is the closer and the major trauma center.... I've been to both and they are both awesome. Are you involved with SMC?
Sorry Randy, I have been to Laguna each time I took my family to California. Sorry to say but Paradise is the wrong word. You were looking for "Elysian Fields".
I also live in Laguna Niguel. For 22 years now. First off, everything Mr.Ora said is quite true. There is also a lot he left out though. It is extremely safe here with a very low crime rate and zero violent crime. It is safe to walk here day or night. We also have the Sea Country Senior Center for anyone aged 55 or older with a many classes of all types to take that are either free or very low cost. Along with that, the western and south faces the Pacific Ocean. Most days are within 75-85 in the Spring and Summer. A few day can go higher. It’s rare to have any humidity here . Traffic in the winter months, after Labor Day is usually lighter. Fall and winter temps are between 70-75 all the way through to Spring..it’s great to live here for all these reasons!

Why don't you mention Saddleback Medical Center? Closer than Hoag

@@movingtolagunaniguel Yes, affiliated with SMC. Hoag is much further away but I get the cache of the brand.
We are moving there soon. Need a home in about 18 months. Help me.

Lol it just burned down
That’s not funny. Most likely a communist activist burnt their homes down.
I rather move to Simi Valley, California. It's better and lovelier without that price tag.
Did you look at towns like Lake Forest and Huntington Beach?
Not paradise by any means! Don't forget high prices, restrictive HOAs, snobbish neighbors, threats of wildfires, just to name a few drawbacks.
The HOA thieves are everywhere.
