Great video, highly recommend this for anyone planning a trip there. Laguna Beach is one of my favorite places to visit in California. So dreamy and incredibly beautiful.
Thank you! I think many people miss out on visiting Laguna Beach. It’s one of the most beautiful beach towns I have visited. The art culture there is amazing!
Laguna is a special place and i can't wait to get back there. If you get a chance to visit, do it!! You will not regret it. Voyager, you did a great job of telling the story of Laguna and capturing it's incredible beauty. Very well done.

17 years ago I watched an MTV series called "Laguna Beach" in my parents' living room in Germany (silly show, but it had a lasting effect on me as a teenager lol). Since then I was fascinated by California. This summer I will finally have the chance to visit CA and of course I will stop in Laguna Beach. Your video will help me a lot with my planning ☀
I also watched that show when I was a teenager and had a fascination with the town. After having time to get to know the city and explore, it has become one of my favorite places to visit. It is incredibly beautiful. I hope you have a great trip. There’s lots to do!
When my brother and I were much younger, our parents had a house built in the hills overlooking Laguna Beach. We loved going into town and to Woods Cove Beach! I have always loved Laguna Beach!
@@DianaGalvez-nw9xs I’ve waited so long to answer this comment lol. I drove through it today, it was SO BUSY with no parking available. But it looked so cute. I wanna try again though and explore it 💕
@@bettibee511 lol its ok. yes same. i took the bus there. and as i was just walking down the street people driving by were yelling, "are u leaving are u leaving!" it was crazy!
My grandfather ran the Laguna Lido for over twenty years when I was a teen. I had the beach to myself most of the time. Laguna is my favorite place, and I still have a picture of the beach next to my bed. Thank u for the memories
@@Voyagerhq sadly just 2 summers, but yes, me too! i was there before all the houses on the hill, and the tv show, so it was really only busy on weekends
When I was a child my parents would drive us to Laguna. The first thing we saw when we entered the city was a man called the greeter. He was filled with so much love and he waved at each car. I wish he was still here.
@@beccalove8791 okay must be a different greeter than cause i live in laguna beach and there’s only one i know he stands at thalia and has a sailer outfit on
@@LVthekidd He’s not the original guy. Eiler Larson is so famous that there is a whole article about him on Wikipedia. He was such a genuine guy and so full of love. I miss him.
Lived in Treasure Island Trailer Park that is now the Montage during my summer vacations back in 1972.. 73 and 74..I explored the caves and tide pools, and worked at Aliso Beach Pier Snack Bar until the pier was destroyed by a storm..It’s now called The Lost Pier and recently picked up a T-Shirt bearing its name…I wear it proudly, knowing I was a part of Laguna’s beautiful history!
What a beautiful place Treasure Island must have been to explore before the hotel was there... I wasn’t aware of the story behind the ‘Lost Pier’ Cafes name. That’s great information to know!
first off thank you so much for these series of videos they are really helpful. i will be in SD for a wedding in april wed-sun. laguna beach would be a nice day trip with my family, i feel bad for leaving SD for a day because its so beautiful but laguna looks so nice too!
You’re welcome I’m glad the videos are helpful! There’s a lot to do in San Diego. If you have time to make it to Laguna Beach, it is one of my favorite places to visit . It’s close by and the beaches are some of the most amazing I have seen.
Are used to hang out at Laguna Beach Crescent Bay area when I was a kid back in the early 80s very early 80s I still miss the burrito place and just be right on the corner of PCH in Laguna Canyon Rd., Little red building where the gas station used to be. I don’t know what it is now but it doesn’t look like a burrito place.
I live in SoCal, and every week i see local news stories where locals are pissed off that there are SO MANY tourists as of late, which isn't terrible in and of itself, but they just leave a horrid mess of the beaches. I personally went to Treasure Island a few weeks ago, and i swear there were as many ppl there on a MONDAY as there usually are only on 4th of July... so I understand the local gripes 🥲
I can’t understand when people leave a place worse than they found it. I think as a visitor it should be a persons duty to respect and add value wherever they go.

Sadly a lot of the places mentioned are not specific enough. Google maps does not recognise “cresent bay park” ( santa monica came up, no Laguna Beach) “Laguna beach village” “ or “Down town laguna beach”. 😢
Unfortunately they do, and some of them have tents, right in the entrance of Laguna Beach main park. I don’t believe that they let them stay at night though. But believe it or not, they’re just as bougie + classy as the community there. I remember once coming out of Whole Foods when I used to work at Aero down the street. There was a homeless man I’ve seen a coulple times there by the the visitor center. I offered him some yogurt and snacks. You won’t believe what this homeless man responded, “I can’t eat Yogurt, I’m lactose intolerant”! 😂
There is a pretty broad range of folks hanging out at main beach. You might come across someone sitting at a park bench who doesn’t seem to have all their marbles. Then you have to play the game “homeless or billionaire?” But Laguna is not an LA beach. No camping. The police are never far away and the District Attorney has billboards all over SoCal letting everyone know that Orange County prosecutes criminals. It’s nice here.

This is Treasure Island Beach - by the tidepools at the foot of The Montage resort. It’s right next to ‘The cave’ on Google maps.

That looks so beautiful not like Santa Monica at all their water is so musty
I don’t know what it is but Laguna Beach’s water is clear like a tropical island. It reminded me of Maui at some spots.
Nice.

Is this beach a private or public beach?
Most of Laguna Beach is public. There are private beaches at the most southern and northern areas.
Sadly a lot of the places mentioned are not specific enough. Google maps does not recognise “cresent bay park” ( santa monica came up, no Laguna Beach) “Laguna beach village” “ or “Down town laguna beach”. 😢
Try Crescent Bay Point Park, and Laguna Main Beach Park. Downtown and the Village are right by Main beach on Forest Ave. Thanks for pointing that out!

sorry but these caves are permanently closed. i know a laguna lifeguard very well and they are closed because of high tide and too dangerous.

Nice tour. And nice voice. Yet you neglected to mention how Gay/LGBT friendly Laguna is and the gay beach West Street Beach.

Where do you recommend visiting in Malibu. Thinking about doing a video there.
A nasty woman put Victoria Beach on the map recently, chasing people off her section of the beach...
I’ve seen that clip recently and remember the house. A completely unnecessary reaction with children present.
