Some of the person facts about reporting aboit Ruth's Chris are wrong. If you don't know, but the wine list by the bottle is not 20 bottles. There are hundreds by the bottle. Ruth's Chris has prime steak, and Capital Grille has choice. The cooking process at Ruth's uses an 1800 degree broiler, vice a 1200 degree broiler. If you need things to top your steak with, than the steak is not the star.
Granted it’s been a bit but Capital grill hands down, RC seemed more like a chain. As I said it’s been a bit & not sure they still do this, but leasing your own wine locker so you could fill it with your own best wines was a super cool attraction.
@user-fv5yo5fi5c well yea, that’s about when I started renting one, well, 90’. To each their own. Butter is great but when ladled on everything it starts to wear thin.
The interesting thing is that the parent company for the capital Grille actually purchased Ruth Chris… So they are technically the same owners now, I wonder how that will affect and change Ruth Chris?
All the expensive Steakhouse are pretty good but here in Houston Papa’s and B&B Butchery are a cut above the rest and they are slightly more expensive.
Local restaurant, Anthony's in Old forge pa, way better filet than local Ruth's Chris. Tenderness, flavor, texture. Made me compare that ruths Chris was using mail order steaks.
I was never impressed with Ruth’s Chris. Always preferred Morton’s. Tried Capital Grille and loved it. All time favorite was still Del Frisco NYC and Sparks in NYC.
I was not that impressed with Ruth's Christ in Niagara Falls Canada. I have had better Ribeye at several restaurants at several locations across the U.S.
Who do you think does it better?
Have you ever done a video on Morton's or Smith and Wollensky?
@NURREDIN went to mortons in Nashville, it sucked.
💯 Ruth Criss !!!
I’m choosing Ruth Criss all day long best steak 🥩 I’ve ever had and the sweet potato 🍠 casserole is outta this world 🌎
How could they not mention the sweet potato casserole at Ruth Chris? Seriously one of the best sides ever and I'm not that big on sweet potatoes.

True that. I hope the maker of the video start researching better
What a dumb comment I’ve had steaks all across the country and the best ones are served Oscar styles or au poivre
I had my first dry aged steak about 15 years ago when Capital Grille opened on Wall Street. It’s been a dry aged love affair ever since.
It is the best
Some steakhouse chain restaurants apparently infuse cheap steaks with clarified butter/oil to “mask” the medium quality of their meat
Or melted fat from dry aged beef to increase the intense meat flavour.
@@BmanNL1Never heard of that one ! Seems genius lol

@user-fv5yo5fi5c it was always a choice between Murray’s, Motrons, mannys, capital grill & Ruth’s … first 3 were better yet.
If you’re going for the steak-Ruth’s Chris is prime-CG is choice. Enough said.
By the way in the video they said both are prime. Only Ruth’s is prime.

It tasted like a really good steak boiled in a sock then I went to Ruth’s Chris. I was beyond disappointed.
Flemmings in West Hartford was worse !!!! I put it on my “never again” list !!!
@@donaldperrotta8514 really? i go to this exact location and get the ny prime steak.. love it
@@bored7743 that’s fine . I gave them 2 visits and got 2 bad experiences . So I’ve never been back .

Capital Grille, though Ruth's Chris is good too.
I prefer Ruths!

I will always wear a suit and tie to a top notch steakhouse. I wear a suit and tie to both Ruth's and Capital Grille.
lol what!
@@PowderedPlates why is it funny?
@@kent266 a suit and tie?? Cmon bro
@CharliesMustangShop try it and see how much better you'll be treated. Plus,. my wife loves it and I get taken care of later that night!!!
Well now they're gonna be very similar....they are now owned by the same company. Darden.....the same company that owns Olive Garden and Longhorn.
Longhorn is a great bang for the buck Their strip is great
@@Lateralus1007, their Outlaw Ribeye is great also.

I tried Capital Grille for the 1st time for my 56th birthday. The experience won 🏆 us over, and yes, over Ruth Chris
CG hands down.
lol, been to both
I also prefer Capital Grille.
Maybe the winner is The Palm.
Ruth Chris in knoxville T.N. is trash. Wish i could show the steak they served me on here .
worked at both. capital is much better. ruth's lies about never frozen beef. yes. it is.
