Ok, one of my clearest memories of Bley is a Clueless Gamer where he was wearing a very nice, silk button-up shirt and Conan said he looked like he stacked towels at a laundromat. He can't win!
Conan is probably the one the most ripped on in the office... It's a real big sign of respect if the people feel comfort enough to make fun of the person who signs your checks... I bet there is a lot of side conversations or out loud apologizing at times from conan and the staff if someone's feels gets hurt at times. If absolutely love working for Conan regardless of the up's and downs of the day.
Honestly, working for Conan on anything sounds as close to a dream job as it gets. If you don't do anything bad chances are you'll be there forever, get fair pay, and from time to time get a good chuckle when he passes by.
@@userusernomi totally agree hahaha, I would love to work for Conan, I would explicitly use clothing to make me the objective of his quips haha I think its great
What I love most is that you can see anxious, energetic Conan tapping his foot and shaking his leg like he's revving his engine as he starts laying into everyone, Conan really can't stop
[Conan roasting Bley's generation] Sona asking Conan: "Really? What did *you* go through??" --> For some reason, the only thing I'm hearing in the back of my head: "PAAATER!!" 😂😂😂
Moments like this remind me that Conan was a monster in the writer’s room at SNL and it’s how an SNL writer was able to become a late night host… Conan really is hilarious and just destroying the room effortlessly
Conan O’Brien has lost none of the zip on his comedy fastball… It’s amazing how he just tosses up a comedy bit…then passes the ball…let’s them contribute…then slam dunks the bit and slays the room… If one of them slam dunks it he laughs like everyone else…but if they don’t he dunks it every time… Then throws up another one and on and on… It’s really awesome to watch
Bley on “Clueless Gamer” is Peak Bley. Conan is over the top as usual and Bley just hangs in there trying, trying, trying to show him how cool these kid’s video games really are. 😅😂
LOVED the Schwarzenegger interview but really all I need in life is Conan riffing with the Chill Chums. Also really appreciative of how frequently they upload now
"Sona, I've only criticized you for only having one leather jacket for the last 25 years." Coming from the guy who's been wearing the same leather jacket for the last 25 years
Sona: "But what did you go through?" Conan: "Oh please don't even get into it, I went through the cancellation of the show CHiPs!!" Ahahahaha, Conan's ability to come up with hilarious ridiculousness on the spot really needs to be studied. So few, if any can match him on this kind of stuff 😂😂
Yeah, I’ve not been a huge fan of her in the past, but her sticking up for him in this so vociferously to me is the mark of a good person. I know Conan was just giving him grief like he does everybody, but felt kind of bad for him, lol.
7:04 I can't believe that Conan's making fun of Sona for wearing the same leather jacket when he's literally worn the same brown one for the last 87 years haha
I enjoy the celebrity interviews, some more than others. But Conan and his gang just chatting breeze....i could listen for hours, it's endlessly entertaining
I’m just two years younger than Bley, and I can say I think our generation is feeling less inclined to “act our age” by anyone else’s definition than our own. It isn’t easy because lots of people still think they know better about how 40-somethings should be. I still get judgy looks when I talk about gaming around older people. But hey, we earn an honest living and we got ourselves here, so we have earned the right to just be ourselves! #teambley Also, Conan you’re my favorite comedian of all time 🙏 (Those are the prayer hands while bowing, just before the string dance)
@@marks.3303 To be honest, I''m not sure. I just did some quick math in my head and figured he be a Gen Xer. In his 20s when he started work for Conan and has been with him roughly 20 years. That would place him in his forties, right?
i'm 46 and i still wear T-shirts with superhero logos and Transformers characters 😎 i have no plain T-shirts. just because we do adult stuff, like work and paying the bills, doesn't mean we have to give up on our inner child. it makes life a little less boring.
I love that Bley is living his best life and dressing like he wants to, otherwise he wouldn't be a comedy/abuse magnet. Every time he's involved, the segment is priceless. ((but i do kinda want to see them all dressed up and not mention it so it's a surprise when it lands on youtube))
Conan has perfected picking on someone while making himself look so bad that you know he’s kidding… That fake patrician voice and rolling R’s he does is like a license to kill
I love how Conan knows where it hurts. Bley is so self-conscious about his wardrobe he wasted his only chance to address Harrison Ford by complaining about people's opinions about his shirt that day.
i was eating chips and salsa during this and almost choked to death when Conan says, "oh an obituary just popped up for the reviewer" this almost actually killed me. wonderful open
I'm so amazed how easily Conan can narrate in the style of critic/reviewer in real-time. And also make it meta. There's so many layers.
He has pretty miraculous powers of improvisation
That was hilarious 😂
Yes that was quite impressive!!!
I love how at 3:13 even when Conan is still praising Eduardo, Bley has already anticipated that he’s about to get roasted
hahaha good catch 😂
Yes! You can so see it on his face!
Eduardo said thank you & swung the mic to Bley in one fell swoop, like he's done it a million times
I thought you were kidding.
No he literally saw the future. And faced it head on.
That's just Bley
@@WuntaykTimmy1 Well Conan did say they were on a similar topic just before the recording started
Ok, one of my clearest memories of Bley is a Clueless Gamer where he was wearing a very nice, silk button-up shirt and Conan said he looked like he stacked towels at a laundromat. He can't win!
YES I actually just watched that
omg someone need to play that in the podcast
hahaha great moment/ also it was v true
Stacked towels at a high end spa hah. Sorry my Conan video knowledge is incredible
😂 😂 😂 😂
Only someone mature like Bley can work for Conan for the past 22 years.
Yes. Everyone that works with Conan seems fairly grounded. That helps balance his sort of crazy, flighty energy.
Dont need to run to the “rescue” of him, that’s more insulting than him learning to grow up, mate

Did not realize Bley has been around for 22 years, Conan’s job retention rate is outta this world lol
You can watch him in an old remote of Conan trashing the late night show office.

@@userusernomi totally agree hahaha, I would love to work for Conan, I would explicitly use clothing to make me the objective of his quips haha I think its great
I love how Bley stood his ground on explaining the whole Batman stuff
And a reference to the comic version of the dark knight returns by Frank Miller, he's obviously a man of taste!!
Well it's serious stuff
90% of Aaron Bleyaert’s job is receiving verbal abuse and emotional damage 😂
The more abuse the bigger payout from the court case
It's 100% of Sona's job
The other 10% is getting punched in the arm
Bley is always jumping on the metaphorical grenade that is Conan's insults.
Bley has such a great laugh, too.
"I watched Gerald Ford stumble on a tarmac! Do you know what that does to a little boy?!" 💀💀💀💀
I swear! I thought Sona almost said, "Who's Gerald Ford?"
That killed me. Just imagining a tiny Conan shaken in front of the TV is gold
What I love most is that you can see anxious, energetic Conan tapping his foot and shaking his leg like he's revving his engine as he starts laying into everyone, Conan really can't stop
Conan - "hey look we dont have alot of time but" , then proceeds to abuse Bley for 12 minutes
He made time
"What are you doing? Bley, what are you doing?" My thoughts exactly, Sona 🤣
Like his lawyer
Conan was in top form here. Probably the greatest improv comedian ever.
I absolutely died when Conan told Aaron he’s the type to wear a “Who farted?” T-Shirt at a funeral 💀💀
"That person on my t-shirt here is Ubishii..."😂😂😂
#NickSwardson
“What, me worry?”
The title of this video is proof we will listen to Conan talk about anything..
Damn straight
😅😅😂😊
lol I picked this video out on a list XP
[Conan roasting Bley's generation]
Sona asking Conan: "Really? What did *you* go through??"
--> For some reason, the only thing I'm hearing in the back of my head: "PAAATER!!"

I can't think of one instance where Conan doesn't have me laughing out loud. His quickness is off the charts. I love this podcast.
Moments like this remind me that Conan was a monster in the writer’s room at SNL and it’s how an SNL writer was able to become a late night host…
Conan really is hilarious and just destroying the room effortlessly
He is too quick like the Peter Pan and nursing home part
And, most importantly, The Simpsons!
I want to see them all dressed up as 1930s newspaper reporters.
Automatically makes me think of Reviewbrah😁
In the style of His Girl Friday 😂
They would all be so cute!
Conan O’Brien has lost none of the zip on his comedy fastball…
It’s amazing how he just tosses up a comedy bit…then passes the ball…let’s them contribute…then slam dunks the bit and slays the room…
If one of them slam dunks it he laughs like everyone else…but if they don’t he dunks it every time…
Then throws up another one and on and on…
It’s really awesome to watch
Facts. Well said
Live Free or Dunk Hard
The maestro !!
What a confusing metaphor that I completely agree with
I love how readily Sona and Matt defended Bley. Also, congrats on your weight-loss, Bley. You look great, and I hope you feel great. 🥰
5:26 - Conan going through the cancellation of CHiPs🤣 Off the cuff with that?!? Brilliant improv mind!
Then two minutes later “I’m not a boomer. I’m Gen Y. As in why the f*** am I working with you people.” 😅
The entire segment had me thinking of the time Bley talked about how dressed up for Harrison Ford. The amount of hazing that ensued was epic lol.

I miss it, and I'd like a special episode with both Bill Hader and Elijah Wood returning in the same one.
they never were kid’s games
One of the best openings ever.
LOVED the Schwarzenegger interview but really all I need in life is Conan riffing with the Chill Chums. Also really appreciative of how frequently they upload now
Couldn't agree with you more 👌
I almost never watch the actual interviews. I simply want to see the banter.
This was one of my favorite intros ever. Nice job everyone completely zinging Conan back 😂 I love it all.
Conan might have the quickest comedic mind since Robin Williams.
There's a British comedian named Lee Mack that has that title right now. Conan is right behind him

Kinda disappointed that Sona didn't fire back at Conan for that lol.

The great eye of Conan... lidless, wreathed in flame.
Pretty accurate description tbh
Gourley got me dyin hard with that last reference. The timing was impeccable.
sona is so nice of a person to stand up for bley

The fact Conan has so many staff stay with him so long goes to show how good a person he....or it's Stockholm Syndrome 😂
omg, so Bleys been working for conan since 2001, since he was 21, so practically half his life! crazy
I was IN TEARS. When you get Conan going there's no stopping him.
i like how conan always calls his employees "young" and like "their young crazy generation", when he's talking to people literally in their 40's lol

Conan around the Simpsons writing table must been a sight
While listening, I was so curious to see how Blay was dressed
