Yoga means Union. Spiritual Development is like stairs. Ashtanga Yoga is on one step of the stairs. In the age of Kali-yuga It is impossible to practice ashtanga/hatha yoga properly. It is still on the mental speculation plane. Which is based on imperfect mind and senses. You are suffering alot its easy to see.
