a pink jig with a micro worm attached is my preferred method on the river i fish, works 9/10 times no bobber or anything! just my 2 cents but love the videos thanks guys!
Jordan have you ever caught a Fraser River salmon they've got a higher fat content and meat is reddish orange it would make a good catch and cook show I watch all the shows so if you do do it I'll see it
Thanks for the videos fellas! Been out on the clackamas/sandy/nestucca/Nehalem chasing these mother heffers for months, no luck. Not giving up tho. I will get a steelhead this year 😂
The stop is to limit how far the float can slide up the line. It sets the depth at which your presentation is fishing. Otherwise the float would just slide too far up your line and make your gear drag bottom and get snagged
I wish it was a rhetorical question lol I still don’t get it. If you peg the float, then why not just use a fixed float? How is the depth getting any deeper? I’ll just have to buy a slip float and try. My brain just can’t picture it. lol thanks though fellers. Unless you let the bobber stop go through your eyelets. I can’t imagine how it goes into deeper water. 🤷🏻♂️
@hunterklemz781 yes you let the bobber stop go through the eyelets. Fixed floats are hard to cast when you are set deeper than the length of the rod. Slip floats you can reel all the way up to the float and it's much shorter for casting. The bobber stop is really small and goes through the eyelets easily. If you are still having a hard time understanding, maybe watch a video on how to rig a slip float. I know I need to see things with my own eyes to understand how it works
Hi. I'm from Kamchatka, Russia. I watched a lot of videos from your TH-cam segment in the fishing and cooking genre. Basically, all the recipes are related to grilling. There are no soups at all. We have one of the most popular dishes on fishing, this is "Uha(Уха)", fish soup :)
NA. The reason you use 65p line is because you're scared you gonna lose the fish, tell the truth. ALL I use is six and eight pound line nothing More reason it only takes 1/3 that fish weight in test line. And good drag. Plus I believe in giving every fish I hook a chance to win of course your not like me
30pound braid and 8pound leader is all I use for all steelhead and coho fishing. The smaller braid allows longer casts, and is easier to mend - less line weight to lift off the water and pull on the bobber. Apply line floatant such as Mucilin to the braid if it gets waterlogged and begins to sink.
Let's not forget these aren't salmon. They survive the spawn they come back that's why we use heavier line. Seen a good example last season guy was fishing eggs with way to big of chunk of yarn an eggs on 6 pound mono and a 10 pound mainline the fish broke the line next day same hole there was a fish dead in the rapid with the whole rig stuck in its mouth. He choked it. All depends on the area an situation I'm in but I don't normally go over 40 pound braid if I'm drifting really long ways il go 50.
Can you please do a small creek trout fishing tutorial with like real ultra light

Good job Jordan!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
What size beads on the jigs?
I just bought some you your guys Sink It Series Jigs today and I was wondering how to fish with them😂
I’ve had so many bites drifting jigs but not much luck twitching them. They’re absolutely deadly tipped with shrimp! 🔥
Thanks, boys, for the beautiful video, Sincerely Gabe
Awsome Video
I've upped the ante by using a surf setup ..needless to say I haven't caught one...been trying so I can say "it's possible" 😅😅
pink jig head w cooked shrimp works out for me
I seen Cameron with a handful clients today. Did he get any fish on the boat??
Oh ya!

Keep at it!!
If the slip float is supposed to slide. Why do we bobber stop it?

@Lad-zn6fn I think that was a rhetorical question...

I didn’t know the bobber stop was allowed to go through the eyelets. Thanks bro I appreciate it. Totally makes sense now.
How long until you guys get my email, I won the first giveaway on the stream last night!

Can we come fish with you there! There is an epic steelhead fishery
Grommet is indeed a fun word.

Damn! Davidfarrens and davorinf should start their own guide service and youtube channel... they talk like pros. That means they must be. 😂
Yeah..let the fish have a chance to break the line and live with a hook in its mouth...use heavier line
If he catches and releases the fish its better than your line snapping and the fish carrying a jig hook and a foot of line 🤦♂️
