    Maybe I'm just an emotional person, but watching a few of these videos made me tear up; I'm basically discovering the true Christ for the very first time after years of idolizing the conventional, American version of Jesus. Thank you so much for this!

      Its wonderful isn't it? I'm happy our Father is showing you these things. May we all come to the knowledge of the Truth and continue in it!

    Thank you for the information. Esther was put there "for such a time as this." That couldn't be more relative to our time. God bless you.

    One thing that took me a long time to realize by more careful reading, was that the Jews still had to fight. They were able to take up arms and battle. Some people died, and it wasn't over after Hamaan was hung.
    It wasn't just all forgive and forget, oops!
    Like Yeshua dying for our sin, yet we still have to battle, but with His help.
    I like to think this is a celebration that YHVH wins the battle against evil and sin.
    Celebrating God's faithfulness, is a way to battle. The joy of the LORD is our strength.

    Hi. Happy purim. A question ... Is it true that once you're Jewish you remain Jewish even if you become messianic jew or even a conventional christian ? Thx Mark. My Hebrew name happens to be Mordechai.

    Esther 9:20-22
    [20]And Mordecai wrote these things, and sent letters unto all the Jews that were in all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus, both nigh and far,
    [21]To stablish this among them, that they should keep the fourteenth day of the month Adar, and the fifteenth day of the same, yearly,
    [22]As the days wherein the Jews rested from their enemies, and the month which was turned unto them from sorrow to joy, and from mourning into a good day: that they should make them days of feasting and joy, and of sending portions one to another, and gifts to the poor.

    Question is the fast of Purim a required Fast or is it a traditional fast. Thanks

  • @wileysatchell4065
    @wileysatchell4065 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Doesn't the fast traditionally begin at dawn the day before and go until dusk?
    Edit: Where are my manners? Shalom aleichem.

    Esther is backwards...the hero is the villain. God is not honored and she is made to be a superhero.
    Ben Heath has an excellent series on it.
    I believe it was kept in the Bible by God in order to show us tactics...like today's news

      his perspective is that christians are haman in jews eyes. that is a stretch. where are christ followers making gallows or schemes to destroy jews? this idea is speculation and not rooted in anything! esther is a jewish book written in hebrew and it should be read in the full context of its time... now there are some interesting nods in esther to the His Story of God's salvation though and end times...also, it is a call to be willing to give up your life for the truth for your people. esther meaning hidden star, the kings name meaning lion king... so many things to derive from esther story like hammons political greed and insecurity imediately goes murderous geoncidal when mordecai does not bow and tremble in his sight. this is tyranny. this is satan. and yes this is what the pharisees were like against yeshua... but you cannot say all jews wanted to kill jesus either. just the nasty power hungry jaded sons of satan those pharisees who sought to kill him and then screamed "we have no king but caesar!" wow they were in fact bilnd by pride and judged themselves traitors to their true King with their own words! anwho this comment is long enough ha

    Why do you think Jesus is the messiah?

  • @alexgordonepic
    @alexgordonepic 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

    christ/God followers should try to follow the jewish holy days. i think this is a natural thing if you are an actual christ lover who reads and loves to know more about their God/Husband/Savior!. and "Their laws are different from those of every other people, and they do not keep the king’s laws, so that it is not to the king’s profit to tolerate them" yeah if you dont think that is not happening in us politics now, you may have lost your shine, saltiness, and/or conviction to the truth. there are so many power hungry liars in politics who like haman, hate you for example not calling abortion "a reproductive right" and for asking them when does the human right of the baby start then? when it has a heartbeat 6 wks when it sucks its thumb 3 months? etc dont repeat their lies! dont make excuses for manipulative people.

    Title should say "How converts celebrate a culture that's not even theirs" we know who the true ppl are. Yall are the Descendants of Japhet not Shem
    1st Maccabees ch 3 ver 48
    "And laid open the book of the law, wherein the heathen had sought to paint the likeness of their images.”
    Revelation ch 2 ver 9
    "I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty. but thou art rich and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Hebrews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan"
    Revelation ch 3 ver 9
    "Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Hebrews, and are not, but do lie, behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee"

      Thanks for the suggestion but instead I'm going to keep the title the same because I follow the Bible and not some fringy Black Hebrew Israelite cult.
