This is what I'm talking about. LS in a S10!!! Chevy has always been hard to beat with reasonable, available parts.
I'll take the stock gtr with ac over the purpose built race car that can't take a corner. Also gtr guy didn't even look to have done the cars launch control, lol.
@@saysbadman he could easily add ac. Most these guys don't bother with it. But I know alot of guys in Texas who daily drives setups just like that and they all have ac.

I mean anyone can do anything, but no ac, skinny front tires, everything cut out to save weight, terrible gas mileage, and the whole thing is rigid enough to shake your fillings out... Don't even try to drive it in the rain. It is a one trick toy.

This is why I love Chevrolet you can build horsepower in a fucking garage For cheap and beat $100,000 + cars
Same can be done with a Ford.
Take 10k each you can make way more power with a Chevy than Ford

@@jamestgilkey75 This is partially true, Yes they cast their own blocks BUT Grainer and Warrel provide the original FORD Casts and they are modified from there.
The Chromosomes of the Koenigsegg V8 is indeed a Ford design albeit Strngthened to sustain almost 2000hp in stock form.
This is evident by the Displacement they use. You can only squeeze so much out of the cast before you lose structural integrity.

Probably lighter than the neon, the stock 4cyl 5 speed 1st gen short box weighs 2,600 lbs. With fibreglass they can get really light.

I try take good care of it...but it's one heck of a truck...still has lots of get up and go.
I'm an absolute Chevy woman...always will be as long as they build Chevrolets..!!!
videos like this keep my spirits high, im building a 92 s10 working on the motor right now going with a zz4 355 small block with edlbrock e210 heads .650 lift, will be full roller with short travel lifters matted to a th400 short tail with a 3500 stall. Hope to give some of the tunners around here a run for there money.

It's a one trick poney that can't leave the strip. Not even street legal. Take both cars to a real track that requires more than just a gas pedal and see how real racecars are built.
