Just because you have an LS against a small block Chevy doesn't mean that the LS is going to automatically win. Plus the small block Chevy has a better torque curve!
The 350 Toque curve comes in much sooner than the 6.0. Which helped get the SQUARE BODY out of the hole . But I also noticed the S10 was having some traction issues . Different drivers probably get different results
355 with more torque than a LQ9? Maybe on a non apple to apple comparison otherwise that's a completely inaccurate assumption. Regardless there's a lot more into it then just torque. A 383 sbc however, with decent heads and a mild 226/228 cam will make equal to or less torque than a stock 6.0 LQ4 with a cam of similar duration, LSA and mediocre lift. Both of these trucks were pretty evenly matched on paper as hard as some might believe. The weight difference isn't much, even though the old squarebodies feel heavy they aren't. This race ... came down to traction, gearing, tuning and driver, as it typically does. I'm very doubtful that 355 has a stock bottom end also. Ask any engine builder to spec you a 400+ hp 355 on a stock bottom end plus nitrous capabilities. Very nice!
That was a good one
And people hate on my sbc stroker lol
my father says Every engine is big at the correct hands. this video confirm
Can you imagine The hell inside this block...
These kids out here never thought there was power being made before LS and coyote motors showed up. 😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣 he should've put all that money in a sbc he'd had 2 seconds on him if so
So you’re bragging up a fully built small block that barely inched out a win against an LS with bolt ons lol.
Ok....
@@buckbundy8642 Fully built?😂😂
You mad he put a set of aluminum heads on a 70 year old design... 😂😂😂
@@kendriver9139 oh yea. Not built. The 355 has been rebuilt with hi compression slugs, a forged crank, aluminum heads a cam, carb, oiling system, huge shot of nitrous. The only thing stock is the block. What’s the matter? You mad your old, fully built small block would have gotten dusted by that S10 with a stock truck engine besides the cam and a snort of nitrous if the driver knew how to drive?
😂🤣
You old stains are humorous.
@@buckbundy8642 You're a clown, learn your motors before you come on here talking trash.... many 350's stock came with forged cranks... STOCK.
And Im willing to bet he has flattop pistons in it...
Some of you ls guys are as bad as ricers... 😂😂😂
S10 was swerving the entire time. That guy was nervous.
