@@virtualmidwest3394 fully locking your brakes would let the car slide straight on, staying on the left of the track. flooring the accelerator made the car spin to the right, into more traffic. Yes, it would not save your own race, but why ruin other's.
FYI in rolling starts once the safety car is off the leader becomes the safety car. Once he floors it its green flag. There is a delay in iracing but basically once the the leader floors it you floor it
Easiest way to get to 4.0 safety rating is by just focussing on being the fastest in your SOF. Sounds boring but at these levels you want to be as far away from the others as possible. What I do is check quali times for the previous races in my SOF range and practice and aim for the top 3 times. Use something like garage 61 to analyze your times compared to others to see where you are losing time if you have to.
I have contemplated using some driver training tools but they all have to be used in a private practice session which is a bit boring. I barely have any time outside of video recording races so I just have to use that time as my practice
@@TheNoviceRacerr the cool thing about garage 61 is that it records your data on all sessions. So you would be able to compare your fastest lap of the race to other drivers in between sessions. It could be small things like knowing where you could brake later on one corner. An example was that I found out that I was braking to hard on certain corners in Montreal in the M4 GT3. Took me 5 minutes to learn about my mistake and I gained 9 tenths on my lap time.
A review of the racing incident's afterwards in future vids would be the cherry on top

Thanks mate, seems like you hit the nail on the head. I'll try and incorporate it in future 😁
3:07 you didn't look where you went either when you went back on track. You caused even more chaos there
+ Keeping the throttle pinned throughout the whole crash. "What a Pen*s" ;)
To be fair I had no control at that point 😅
@@TheNoviceRacerr there is always a Brake pedal available
His brake pedal would have done absolutely nothing there

Ppl being more aggressive on that second race because you have a lower iRating is something you'll deal with most of the time so stay aware of them

Isnt that the goal of iracing anyways lol

nicholas i reckon you should turn on vc so you can hear their opinions and you can voice yours it’d be a good way to learn and to teach them
Not sure I'm ready to be bullied yet
