I can be on a daytime linehaul, but I choose to run nights due to the awful traffic nowadays during the day. 10-15 years ago it was awesome running during the day.
That is the cleanest that truck will ever be. Saia will buy new trucks but never enforce on how clean a truck has to be for the next driver that has to use it. I have many years at saia and I have seen beautiful new trucks just look horrible on the inside with garbage, dust, grime, etc. within the first year. Also these new trucks like the Internationals are way too small on the inside with leg room. Very uncomfortable for a taller guy.
Mark your video picture is awesome!! I felt I could touch the truck through my TV, lol.
We have a ton of these at fedex freight all have the 12 speed auto and 450 cummins.. so so trucks
Nice truck sadly we ain’t never getting those out here 😂😂😂in the east coast
Does the little handhelds have gps maps?
Clean looking truck
I’m surprised Saia didn’t go with the Cummins engine
We have the Cummins in the internationals. They may have just wanted to try a new motor or it may not even be an option in the new Pete’s.
They will regret getting the paccar motor. Should have specd with Cummins. They will spend more time in the shop than on the road. Junk motor
Time will tell
Looking good Mark 👍 put shit motor have had one before no power at all and always broke down maybe they have gotten better.
Great review. Thanks man!
You retired haven’t heard from you in a while
You def have the best job in trucking. Daytime linehaul. jealous haah

Old dominion has started getting internationals in.
Nice truck. I can’t believe they got a sliding fifth wheel on a single axle.
First time I’ve ever seen it.
So nice job 👍
Does it have the E coast, like ‘23 Freighliners?
It does coast when you’re going downhill. But unlike the 23 freightliners You can override it by pushing on the accelerator
How's the turning radius on the 579's?
I don’t think I could tell the difference between the Petes and the Cascadia’s

I drive a 17 pete 579 and would love a kenworth t680 or freightliner Cascadia over it
Does Saia assign trucks to drivers?
In linehaul the trucks are assigned to the run.
I like your peter
The whole 68 push pedal to 65 thing is annoying. Thank God these don’t have that programmed 🙏🏼🤟🏼
If you’re considering working for Saia ltl freight?
Don’t!!! Fair warning.
Привет. Спасибо
