90's were the last of the good ole days! Great video!
Jeah-Your right! It's sad but true.
Its seems like yesterday 1990's. Great stuff Dave & Maddie
i guess Im asking randomly but does someone know of a trick to get back into an instagram account..?
I was stupid forgot the password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me.
@Maximus Deshawn Instablaster :)
Hello randy how are you doing today
The mid 90's - early 00's trucks are still my favorite today.
Not a lot of people seem to care for them now, But i just really like their smooth, Yet not too smooth, And simpler design.
Frieghtliner FLA cabover one of my favorite cabovers
I worked at Freightliner when the Century Class aka Century Smash. Anyway ya everyone at the dealership came out to look at it when we got our first one. I mean everyone parts guys of course sales guys and all us mechanics. It was almost the same when we got a Classic XL. I remember it like it was yesterday it was green. I'm not big on green but let me tell you it was like nothing else you have ever seen. All the extras were insane. The seats were like the best couch you have ever sat on. They were the same as the ones that came in the Silver Areo's. Sure don't see many of them anymore. They had what was called a basement so you could stand up. This was before all the raised roof intregal trucks. Anyway cool little series you got here 👍🇨🇦🔧
Thank you Ms Maddie....👍👍

I was assigned a 99 classic when I worked for werner. Great on the highway, all the good I say about it
I really miss the old Ford heavy duty trucks 😟
Love me an L9000N
Total beast of a rig
The Classic XL was the best Freightliner truck ever made! Wish they still made it…
That's when I started riding with my dad. I miss those days.
I wish I could've been able to drice back in those days
Don't forget about the cabovers of the early 90s up to 1997 and the condo models up to 99.
Hello how are you doing today
I am 51 now when I was growing up my dad had cabovers. He was a food hauler. He got rid of his mack mh ultra liner in 1995..And even back then the cabovers were die ing out.

I love these videos
I really liked the sterlings particularly the 9500 A Liner it is my understanding that Sterling production ended in March 2009 that’s a shame Freightliner chose to do that
Drove those sterling single axle day cab pulling doubles, they were good trucks.
My father owed 99 At9500 I think it was with small bunk and went independent
Hello George how are you doing today
@@franceliakarle_1 I am doing ok thanks
We have a small fleet of Sterling Acterra garbage trucks at work, good reliable old trucks if not a little slow
I had the brochures for the Freightliner XL classic & the 387 In blue color back in the day I think I might still have them too i also went to TEC of cal mack dealer around that time i was young but saw and brand new red and yellow vision over there
6:44 Idk why this is funny even made trucking history lol
Hello bob how are you doing today
Liking this a lot, wish my health had held and I could of put a few more on my trip ticket to heaven. Driving came natural after a few changes at home put me looking for one and the ex and her new guy were snug as a bug in the home I left which I built with my own two hands. Loud cowboy music and some tears later I had a million miles on me and she wants me back, I just kept on trucking

I went from a Classic with a Cat 550 to a Columbia with a 470 Mercedes biggest piece of crap I drove from Freightliner I complained about that truck so much to my boss that he purchased a Western Star with a 525 60 series that was one of the nicest trucks I drove around that time period.
Lawrence Magda my father went from 99 Volvo VNL860, to new 07 Columbia with 470 Mercedes with 12 speed Smart shift he drove it for 600,000 miles before needed heart operation that truck only had two issues, Damn Belts loved to self destruct and turbo blew at 250k but after that It was only belts like every 50k-100k belt blew , after his recovery the company he worked for put him into another Columbia and the smart shift wouldn’t shift, turbo blew twice. They rebuilt the trans it still wouldn’t shift. So they put him into 386 C13 425hp, 13 speed 700,000 miles with a faulty power steering rack🤣
Schneider!!🚚🙋♂️
Back then I was driving a T600 kw and pulling a TRL . That said Radio Shack on it
7:26 that's my truck ! I'm famous ! Lmao
Thats one of the nicest columbias I've seen.
Nice!
Thanks ! Itll be for sale soon. Lights come with it lol along with refrigerator, microwave, 32" tv and big watt inverter. Its 18 speed with deleted 14L Detroit with a jake brake loud enough to get you in trouble lol
Hello Ryan how are you doing today
Can't believe you didn't mention the Volvo VN series. Came out in 97 or 98 and still being made today.

Hello Logan how are you doing today
Freightshaker never did learn how to build a door
LoL
They still can't build a front end suspension
Hello bud how are you doing today
Yes they did but now you can't close a door on a peter built
I've said it once and I'll say it again....the T2000 is the ugliest truck to ever exist.....with a close second now from the international Lonestar
Yeah
I used to call them T2ugly's!
Hello how are you doing today
The Korean looking truck
It was so ugly. Man those and the bloated Peterbilts. Man to be honest all those aero trucks including those fat centurys and columbias were ugly. My favorites are Classic XL Peterbilt 359 amd 379, W900, T600, Peterbilt 377, and the International Eagles
👍😉
Hello jerry how are you doing today
@@franceliakarle_1 Good thanks and you. ?
How come y’all never talked about the Mack RD-600’s & 800’s or the Mack DM-600’s & 800’s, or The Autocar Vocational trucks I’m just wondering because around where I’m from and live those trucks are still running the roads everyday from the 70’s models to 90’s models even newer but I was just wondering why those weren’t talked about
Hello josh how are you doing today
The first sterlings in the 90's were built by ford. I owned one. Said ford on title. The freightliner one's were not nearly as good. Owned one of those too.
In 2020 how does Daimler still own Detroit deisel???
Why do you ignore navistar….
Volvo?? They had the best 90s truck IMO
I'm surprised they didn't talk about Volvo trucks.
Hello John how are you doing today
Cuz they suck
Freightliner FLA/FLB not represented ☹️
Hello Edward how are you doing today
NAFTA, was more like now OUR neighbors can screw AMERICA. And that they did !!
Bert Grau Trump got rid of NAFTA. Thanks be to God!

Hello Glenn how are you doing today
If someone Talks about Beautyness of Trucks he or she for sure is talking about American Trucks! It's a Pitty that American Names "got lost" like INTERNATIONAL OR WHITE OR BROCKWAY. The Goverment is aked to keep American Companies on top!!! Altough I'm German I Love US trucks since I'm a kid! Best Trucks on Earth🇺🇸🎱♠️🖤🎰And one Thing more after reading the comments "MERCEDES BENZ HAS NO FANS"(That incloudes me) -I started with Mercedes in 1994....Wosn't that good!

Cottonwood 359 So, why do they call WS a Cadillac rig?
Your joking right?
Hello how are you doing today
I liked the video until you mentioned Clinton.
I guess international fell off the face of the earth in the 90's?..
I'm surprised you didn't mention that the kw and the Peter built were designed by the same guy that designed the ram pick up and later was sued for it. Fyi the kw was called a ram on steroids and the Peter built was now as the Japanese pete...js
I like all of the truck info but could do without the politics.
