The BRM 512M new release at 3:12 is a new recent colour scheme for this tooling. The first release nearly a year ago now was the thee blue Sonoco livery variations from Daytona, Sebring and Watkins Glen. Sasha and Daithi had recorded a good test comparison of the BRM Sonoco 512M, Porsche 917K and the TTS Alfa Romeo T33/3 open sports car. Well worth a look. I am trusting my supplier of BRM cars, BONZA, will be putting one of the new red 16 cars away for me and maybe a white kit that is usually available. These are usually made in limited numbers of as low as 250 so may be already sold out to pre orders like my preorder. You might have seen the Sunoco version sitting near the drivers stations at racing last week.

It's a real pity that Carrera only produce their 1/24th scale slot cars in digital form. Carrera Evolution track owners are forced to buy digitally equipped cars at a higher price, when they are not getting the benefit of it, or buy other more expensive brands to get the cars in analogue form.
