🇨🇮 Africa Cup of Nations 2023 Stadiums: Ivory Coast

- The tournament was originally scheduled to be held in Côte d'Ivoire in 2021, but after the subsequent reshuffling of the hosts of several consecutive editions, the country will eventually host the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, which, contrary to its title, will take place in January and February 2024 (13 January - 11 February).
This will be the 34th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations and the second to be organised in Ivory Coast (the first time the country hosted the Africa Cup of Nations was in 1984). For the third time, 24 teams will take part in the tournament. The hosts were guaranteed participation, with the remaining teams selected in qualifiers that began on March 23, 2022 and concluded on October 17, 2023. There will be no debutants among the qualified teams. The title will be defended by Senegal. Check out all 6 stadiums that will host the tournament.

They're nice stadiums, but football stadiums with athletics tracks are never as good to watch a match in as football-specific stadiums.
The International Olympic committee provide financial support and funds if Stadiums in struggling countries are built with a track that's why most African nations include one also athletics is popular in Africa and it's nations pride that's why most stadiums even without getting funds they will include tracks as well

Fully agree. There is no reason to have so many large stadiums with athletics tracks. These stadiums age less well and are less enjoyable to watch football from. Best is to have 1 big national stadium with a track then several specific ones.
I thought I was the only once, ( don't like football 🏟️ stadiums with tracks especially that red track, at least sky blue is okay but, it's better to without tracks

Not even a single stadium is football specific. All with a running track putting the fans further away from the pitch.
1 or two are, most are old stadiums renovated and I think they done it on purpose. Ik english stadiums fans are close here theres abit of space

Stupid reasoning let me tell you that Ivory coast is not a poor country we can afford more than these stadiums .All those athletic tracks are added to the stedium because in the country there many national' s athetic competions during the year. Beside Stediums we got many other sport 's infrastructure. Visit the country before exposing your ignorance.
