If Botswana wins the bid to host AFCON in 2027, the country plans to build 3 three new stadiums, one each in the greater Gaborone, Kasane and Maun areas.
The Obed Itani Chilume Stadium in Francistown, National Stadium in Gaborone, and Lobatse Sports Complex are to be renovated.
