I know of many fellow riders who have died on motorcycles just commuting to work in the city. Always wear your gear it won't stop you from getting killed or crushed but it will reduce the recovery time from months or years to weeks. But the guy in this video never wear gear so it definitely wasn't him not getting a chance to get his gear. he just chooses to not wear any ever.

Blind spot people usually figure it out after I brake and they finally see me in the rear view and then wave to say sorry, but some assholes have spotted me and swerved across 3 lanes to try to take me out more than once. I have a 320 cc Yamaha MT-03 that can barely speed if I tried, I don’t lane filter, and I have a stock exhaust. I believe it’s psychopaths who think it’s a way to get away with a free murder, please be careful I know my mother would be devastated if she got that call so I don’t wish that on anyone’s family.

My cousin lost his leg in a crash. He had horrible phantom pain. He said it felt like his crushed leg was always still there. Sadly he got hooked on painkillers trying to stop the excruciating pain, which he ultimately succumbed to. It was sad. Stay safe out there.

Had a truck cut me off while i was in my car (im not gonna lie i was speeding) and i had to take the shoulder to avoid crashing since i didnt have enough space to brake(he was going under the speed limit cause his lane had slowed down a lot). Brian has got in what 3 wrecks now. I know none of them were his fault other than when he was racing down a mountain, roads got slippery from moisture and his ABS saved him on every corner other than 1. It only catches wheel spin 99% of the time. He's such a great guy though, aleays willing to help someone. Never complains about life, he's a solid dude. Anyway respect y'all ✌
My mom has a cousin who was run over by an 18-wheeler while biking (not a motorcycle). She miraculously survived because there was a paramedic or nurse who happened to be driving by. She completely shattered her femur and multiple other bones, underwent dozens of surgeries, and has made almost a full recovery and can walk. She wrote a book but my memory fails me on what the name is.
As somone with most the injuries aside from the collar bone hell be up and riding in like 8 months sorry to hear it happened i got chased down and hit and run last year on my 500
Had something similar happen to me a month ago, had my bike less then 2 months was on my way home and a car pulled out in front of me and when he saw my headlights he dead stopped in the middle of the road and I hit his car with so much force I totaled his car and my bike, broken ankle, right hand, broken hip and pelvis, had my gear on that’s what saved me, be safe out there people 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
My first time in a bike was to recover my mates triumph he couldn’t ride from the crash site, had a vice grip for a back brake, the bars were up and down and a little crooked, front brake destroyed and slightly skew front wheel. Been hooked ever since

5 days ago on Saturday the 25th of May I had an accident on my motorcycle. It was very bad, but I'm glad I didn't break my spine or hurt my head.. When I crashed, my leg popped like i stepped on a land mine, No saving it, I lost 78% of my tibia, and all the muscle/ skin attached was gone.. They amputated my foot and some of my leg 2 days later on Monday. I also broke my hip on the right side, and I'll be getting surgery for that in a couple of days. My girlfriend savannah was in fact with me when I had the accident but thankfully if there is a God he or she spared savannah she has no injuries past a couple bumps and bruises from falling off the bike. I was not going fast at all, or it would've been much worse. I was going about 30 mps.. But there's these yellow flashing lights which is a ""yield"" not stop but some car 3 cars ahead of the car I was behind slammed on there breaks when we had the right away. there was no stop sign on our side however the other side does have a stop sign. I didn't have enough space to stop that fast and just bam. I hit the car, and my leg was gone. I knew I'd loose some of my leg from the moment I looked down and saw how much of it was gone. Being an emt gear does and doesn’t help at the same time it all depends on what your doing, if you going too speed in the highway just say fuck it cuz gear is primarily for high speed slides not high speed impacts. Sadly I saw a guy with a airbag suit and he hit a wall at 130 and it just popped and inside his suit he basically turned into mush but you never know how your gonna crash so safe side wear your gear🫡

Had something similar happen to me a month ago, had my bike less then 2 months was on my way home and a car pulled out in front of me and when he saw my headlights he dead stopped in the middle of the road and I hit his car with so much force I totaled his car and my bike, broken ankle, right hand, broken hip and pelvis, had my gear on that’s what saved me, be safe out there people 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

My first time in a bike was to recover my mates triumph he couldn’t ride from the crash site, had a vice grip for a back brake, the bars were up and down and a little crooked, front brake destroyed and slightly skew front wheel. Been hooked ever since

Im glad to hear hes alive, Ofc its in ohio wouldnt be surprised if it in was columbus ppl cant drive my brother had a truck pull out in front of him while going 50 destroyed the tendins and had to get surgery and nephew was hit by a drunk drinker at a stop sign going 45 on Harrisburg pike luckily his wheel was extended 2 feet saved him from serious injuries they're doing well, im praying dude recovers good🙏

Not trying to be disrespectful but this is a lesson on why we need to wear gear, if we was boots and better gear we would be in a better shape, not trying to disrespect or anything. I do wish him well and I hope he has a good and speedy recovery

In the war of the road, you need armor. Riding a motorcycle is like charging into the field of battle, wearing a grass thong as armor. You may be maneuverable, but one hit and you’re dead.
My buddy recently hit the back of an suv doing over 120kmph and his bike got totaled and the suv got totaled, but he walked away with a torn ligament in his one knee and minor brain damage 😅
Man Hondas are built different, after I dropped my cbr and it slid for several hundred feet the bike was still running and only had damage to the fairings lol

5 days ago on Saturday the 25th of May I had an accident on my motorcycle. It was very bad, but I'm glad I didn't break my spine or hurt my head.. When I crashed, my leg popped like i stepped on a land mine, No saving it, I lost 78% of my tibia, and all the muscle/ skin attached was gone.. They amputated my foot and some of my leg 2 days later on Monday. I also broke my hip on the right side, and I'll be getting surgery for that in a couple of days. My girlfriend savannah was in fact with me when I had the accident but thankfully if there is a God he or she spared savannah she has no injuries past a couple bumps and bruises from falling off the bike. I was not going fast at all, or it would've been much worse. I was going about 30 mps.. But there's these yellow flashing lights which is a ""yield"" not stop but some car 3 cars ahead of the car I was behind slammed on there breaks when we had the right away. there was no stop sign on our side however the other side does have a stop sign. I didn't have enough space to stop that fast and just bam. I hit the car, and my leg was gone. I knew I'd loose some of my leg from the moment I looked down and saw how much of it was gone. Being an emt gear does and doesn’t help at the same time it all depends on what your doing, if you going too speed in the highway just say fuck it cuz gear is primarily for high speed slides not high speed impacts. Sadly I saw a guy with a airbag suit and he hit a wall at 130 and it just popped and inside his suit he basically turned into mush but you never know how your gonna crash so safe side wear your gear🫡
@rohandhanota9944 funny enough. That was he was wearing the helite vest which I think is very useful but even with. That if your hitting something over 100mph just consider it useless
