I have always heard about the incredible architecture that we can find in Melbourne, I would like to see it one day. Walking along the river is one of my favorite things to do when I travel.
I also loved the wide organic range there!! 💪❤️

No matter where you are in the world, the popular markets will always be the same and that is one of the things that impresses me about Australia, that with such a variety of cultures, even on the other side of the world people have the same habits, the same pace of life and almost identical tastes. I feel that if you go to the food markets, you will always find the true personality of the people, nothing superficial, it's the people in their original form. So, have to give Australia a chance and schedule it in my itinerary of visits. Good sightseeing!!!

Melbourne, Australia, often evokes widespread praise for its vibrant cultural tapestry, diverse experiences, and dynamic urban landscape. I must say that my activity would be meeting with politicians in Parliament House, of course as long as issues that are really needed are discussed, that would be so great

There’s actually a train station right outside parliament house… and all trams within the cbd are free.
Philip Island is not in Melbourne, but is a regional area some hours drive from the cbd.
A smoking ceremony is not about smoking a cigarette, but observing a cleansing ritual by walking through the wafting smoke of a small fire that includes smouldering leaves of whichever eucalypt is sacred to the mob that traditionally owned that location. Visitors should be aware that there are very few public places or spaces where cigarettes or increasingly vapes are permitted in the State of Victoria. (Perhaps an image of a Smoking Ceremony led by an Elder would be better than one of a salaryman puffing on a tobacco stick?)
As a born and bred Melburnian, places I take my international friends are; (outside city limits) Healesville Sanctuary, The Dandenong Ranges, The Great Ocean Road, Daylesford. Within central city; Lume Digital Art Gallery, St Kilda, Brunswick Street, Melbourne Laneways for quirky stores, great coffee and artisan creations. Agree that Vic Market, Botanic Gardens are worthwhile. Melbourne is a foodie paradise; Southbank and Degraves St are my go to locations to eat. But, visitors must be aware that it’s pronounced Mel/bun, with equal stress on both syllables 😊

    Comments from local
    10. State library - nothing to do there, you’re so 1970s)))
    9. Meeting politicians - us locals don’t want to meet them, why would tourists want?
    8. Mornington peninsula - nice place, good wine, quite expensive accommodation. Swimming season is quite short - January and February. Don’t miss Martha Cove and hot springs.
    7. Goboat. While boat rides are cool in Melbourne I’d rather go in a bigger boat with restaurant on board. The fact that goboats are made from recycled materials has nothing to do with environment, rather marketing.
    6. Circle tram is good, but all trams in the city are free. Ferris wheel gone bust during covid, not running anymore
    5. Philip island is a real gem, but I’d rather recommend to stay there a night or two
    4. Don’t forget tennis is only two weeks a year, the rest of year these venues are used for concerts
    3. Botanical Garden is the best in Australia, but I also recommend botanical garden in Cranbourne - Australian native flora. Both are free
    2. Hot springs mentioned above - worth visiting. Take a package with lunch.
    1. Queen Victoria market is good on Wednesday nights. On normal days South Melbourne market is way better and more local
Overall - why do you use so many stock footages that have no relation to Melbourne? You never visited Melbourne?
Missed highlights - Melbourne food scene, art gallery, theatre, Yarra Valley, boat trip to Bellerine peninsula wine region, Scienceworks, Exhibition building, Ballarat attractions, Eureka skydeck, Sealife and many more.
Typical wiki guide that has no clue about Melbourne. Very poor work mate

Best thing to do in Melbourne is head for the airport. Sorry, they still do not have a rail link.
