    A casual 2-player playthrough/talkthrough between designer Damon Stea, and producer, Cassandra Chowdhury.

    Be aware that there are some temp pieces of art in these cards and sometimes there are art mismatches between the cards show in the video and the graphic overlay. The art is slowly coming together and getting better over time!
    (oh and we flipped the wide shot so it was easier to keep track of who was on each side of the table, and thus the font on the box is backwards).

      ​@@damonstea So, my 6-year old and I printed some of the cards and gave it a go last night :). It was a great time and both of us really enjoyed diving in this universe. I'd like to point one card though that struck as a bit out of sync with the rest. This was the 'Planet Plague'... Although the image is striking and evocative, it feels like it leans too much in the gore/horror, which no other card has. I know this is very much personal and maybe subjective, but I would replace that picture. Again though, no other comment on any of the other cards. Love it!

    I absolutely love the art style and the universe. The names for the cards and abilities are really cool I also love the look of the box art.
    As others have mentioned, I can see the Netrunner DNA in it, which is a compliment as Netrunner is one of my favourite card games of all time.
    I’d love to see more games of this, just to get a better sense of how much planning goes into defence and offence. It’s really hard just seeing one game, and of course not knowing the card pool means I can’t see the combos and synergies as easily. Not your fault of course.
    I’m excited to see more of this game, and eventually get my hands on it. Would be great if you could publish more content with teasers or other bits and pieces if the universe, strategy and tactics.

      Thank you! We have been working on the art for years, and it has certainly paid off. We have more playthroughs coming so stay tuned! If you love Netrunner, you will very likely love this game too.

      We actually have a fan doing a German translation right now! We won't be able to do a German print on our first print run, but we will be offering free German stickersheets for the cards for those who want them!

      @@damonstea In that case, I've recently read the rules and I found some details that were unclear after reading it:
      - It's not clarified if there is a limit to the forge nor how many cards can be played into the Forge in 1 turn. It's also mentioned that you can either proceed to forward the progression or signal that a card has been complete but it's not clarified why you shouldn't just always advance the progression if the player isn't ready to reveal.
      - The rules don't specify that you must place at least 1 drone on a unit, so I guess you can just send out a unit without health and just let it die?
      - The Active player is mentioned a lot but alongside it, there is a lot of mentioning that cards and facilities can activate during every players turn. So just the feel on what happens when becomes unclear or how the timing of the facilities action would function (just from the rules).
      Small things in the grand scheme of things & I have not watched the video yet so perhaps it will clear everything up.
      Edit: Also, _technically_ it's not clarified on what to do if the deck has been exhausted, although I do understand that such an event is unlikely if not outright impossible.

    Can't wait! just wondering, about how many kickstarter followers are you aiming to get pre-launch?

      It's a mix of the follows and the email list that we are looking at. The number that most marketers and successful kickstarter creators has suggested to us is 7000- that high because unfortunately you can only count on 5-10% of them actually backing. We are getting there. It'll be soon!

    Very interesting ideas and concepts. I can see that Android Netrunner is a big influence in this game. My concern is that deploying units is quite slow and for that reason the combat phase is secondary and the strategy around it quite rare. During the whole gameplay you both had either your forge or hand exposed. Perhaps the chosen factions are not a good match to show the game's potential.
    I'll be following this one close. Intrigued to see more mechanics and other factions.

      Thanks for the comment! The game is definitely best with 3-4 players, in which case there is usually more combat. But I would also say this playthrough was very low on units, which isn't always the case.

    What if you put the power and armor bonuses on the augments in the same spot as units but with a +1 or +X? Makes it a little easier to identify, even if you then have to figure out what X is.

      That's a great idea! There's a lot of variety in abilities of augments, so I'm not sure it would ultimately work but I'll look into it

    @29:09 Attacking a Forge, getting nothing out of it and wasting your turn feels weird .. Not even pushing the "production" icon back one space on the chosen cards when completely unopposed? But it makes sense that a losing player doesn't get to lose more to stay in the game. Still..

      The only advantage is information- you know what the player has coming and can prepare for it. There are actually a couple cards that reduce a forge card's progress when it breaches, but it isn't a standard mechanic.
