Excited for this Kickstarter given how much i enjoyed Age of Civilization - will have to watch this tutorial in full before deciding whether or not to back.
An excellent tutorial as always, and I expect this to be a great game for my collection. I am very curious as to how the later epochs play out, since there will be fewer places to expand peacefully.
Unfortunately, this is the limit for gameplay I was able to work into the project. I'm glad you enjoyed it, I hope you have fun with it when it arrives :)
for a Petra wonder, there is a test "The maximum distance of trade (land route) +3" which is as you said 3 or it is +3 which means 5? I think option for 3 is too low, but I did not play the game yet, may be it is not. I also did not found any info about this in bgg. Also many thanks for this video, it is very helpful.
I know the trade route rules changed recently, around when the video was made, so it's possible the components don't fully match due to this being a prototype.
I always have mixed feelings about games like these. I love civilization building games. But the only reason to play this as a board game instead of a computer game is to play it with other people... and I _really_ don't like PvP military conflict. I appreciate this games warmonger mechanic for at least putting a good cost on it - far too often games like these embrace conquest being the dominant strategy - but it still isn't enough for me. That's just my own personal hangups though. I did like a lot of the mechanics of this game, although the completionist in me wants to have all the techs and not just 3 each era lol. Thanks for the video!
This seems not bad as a light civilization game. I like that it seems straightforward but thematic, seems to let you do a bit of everything you expect in a civ game. I would say that they piece that's, at least at first glance, a tad underwhelming is the small scale of the "gameboard". Part of a civ experience is usually exploring and colonizing vast swaths. I do like the slow reveal of the map.
Looks like a great civ game. As always you teach them very well. Thank you!
Always the best place to see new games to get an idea of how a game works

Amazing video and explanation. Calm, well put together, loved it!
Thanks!
CORRECTIONS:
1:03:21 - You get 1 point for every 2 gold remaining during final scoring.
1:34:14 - Green should have gained the culture, not Blue.
Your video is what sold me on Terrorscape. Glad they hired you again.
Backed this one too Jon. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for your video!! I've really enjoyed it! At 1:34:10 green player got 2 culture points not the blue one.
Thanks for pointing that out, I've added corrections. Glad you enjoyed the video :)
Great video Jon... the game looks very very interesting!!

Correction at 1:03:20 you said 2 points for every gold at the end of the game, it should be 1 point for every 2 gold.
You beat me to it, lol.
Good catch! I've added corrections, thanks.
Should the red player roll 1 more die since he has an advantage while defending? 1:28:05
At that moment I was attacking Green, and they do not have advantage with defense.

You went with the UK pronunciation. Not surprising.
I want this game to be good but it looks boring AF for some reason to me.
