Their decision not to get the license for the old soundtrack and insert their bland, generic BGM sound kills the OVA for me. Air Gear was great not only because of average animation of a very cool comic with cool concept, but also because the soundtrack was funky as hell and completely original.

I love air gear in the beginning because it brings out my fantasy about roller blade. But after that it became a global scale war that kill people. It was kinda weird for me.

Yeah Nvm I forgot it’s been decades. I think the sky regalia did something, but I guess it’s safe to finally read it again. ✨😤✨

There are a bunch of good new characters, and some super good fights. In fact the clip of Agito fighting orca @4:47 is only barely shown in the anime, but is a full fight in the book.
Actually in the manga the fight was longer than this cut version especially Dontres solo them all before buccha interfere. Before the ova probably the funniest shit ever when they disqualified and jump to ikki trying to seppuku for his stupidity for a stupid porn magazine that he camp under bridge for Gram Scale tournament. Well the last fight was dope as fuck tho. A lot of fight really good and long but if getting remake it would be better.

Since episode 1 ringo was not part of kogarasumaru and if she help them she will called a traitor by her siblings who also sleeping forest member. That why she dress as School Swimsuit Corsair i think when Kogarasumaru almost lost against other team on drag race? I forgot against sabel tooth i think. Second ova was ringo herself trying to help kogarasumaru. Only simca knows her identity in Behemoth vs Kogarasumaru when she tried to join but interfere by simca to let her know that they not a weakling.
10 years late/ 20 years late i will still hoping for a full rebut of this serie!!!! at least enough seasons to finish the story!!! PPPLZZZZZ
