I don't think I ever played a game where the in game graphics look this good! So good that sometimes I had trouble distinguishing from the in game engine gameplay and the cutscenes. See for yourself! Beyond the graphics, the gameplay was fun, engaging, and responsive, and Senua's story is just as compelling as the first one. If you prefer no commentary playthroughs, stop by www.youtube.com/@silentsnaxan where I have the game with no cam and commentary. Thanks for stopping by!
Game of the year boys. This game its insane...ive been playing for 2hrs and holy shit nothing like this out there definitely unique , even the combat feels so much unique theres nothing like it
Its getting so many bad reviews mainly because of how short it is, which I can admit I was disappointed as well, however, the people saying its not a game or are expecting it to be like any other game have either never played the first one at all, or they just don't comprehend what the devs were trying to accomplish with both titles. These were meant to be cinematic journeys with a character who suffers from a mental illness. I loved the first one, was extremely hyped for this one, and absolutely love Heilung. These games are in a category of their own, and regardless of the haters who don't get it because they think it's supposed to be God of War, the devs clearly put a lot of work and effort into it, and it's still a game I enjoyed. This comment wasn't directed at either of you guys obviously, just kind of confused at some of these people who gave it bad reviews is all. What do you guys think?
@@djblade337 Reviews can be a funny thing. This game was about the same length as the first one (which got good reviews), has tighter combat, and story just as compelling. And thats even before we get to how amazing it looks. I would have more faith in a review from someone who actually played the first one. As for me I don't mind short games sometimes. They are respectful my time and I love unique games that really tell a good story. But here's where I think the issue is. For most people, I think this game can take a lot more attention span to really get the most out of it. The first encounter doesn't even happen until a while in. But for those that really give the game time and attention it deserves, it's is so rewarding and deeper on many levels.
@snaxanGaming I agree. I bought a series X only after I saw Hellblade 2 was coming, waited all this time since the announcement, and with my lovely luck my house had a lightning strike that fried most of my appliances, my Series X, my modem and router, and my good tv, so sadly I didn't get to play it in all its 4k glory, but at least it came out on game pass so I could still play it on tge Cloud. Not sure if you've ever had the non-luxury of having to play a cloud game, but the quality it almost cut in half. Looked like the first Hellblade before it even got the enhanced update, but I loved it nonetheless. Lol. Hopefully I'll be able to afford another Series X someday so I can see what everyone else experienced, and the Gods will let me keep it for a while next time.
@@djblade337It's not mainly because of how short it is. The majority of the reviews point out that the game is super repetitive, linear and with paper thin combat. Games like Little Nightmares are like 2-3 hours long and it's amazing how much variety it has. A goty award can't be given only for graphics. It can win a technical achievement award tho.
Masterpiece. Ninja Theory said it came out exactly how they wanted it. I played with headphones and its amazing. you'll also notice it's the first game this graphically intense with no pop-in.
I was going to play this before watching your playthrough but after seeing this. I just want to watch your playthrough first. WOW Reminds me of the Conan movie for some reason. @Snaxan, kicking ass and I loved your response to the cannibals, "No, Let's Go Back! Let's Go Back!"
Lil tip: I swapped the Sprint & Block/Parry buttons to make combat a little more intuitive to me. Loving how "weighty" the combat is and how much more narrow the parry window is now, makes catching a parry so much more rewarding. Anyway, thanks for the early upload, absolutely loving this game so far!!!
The parry systemin the first game was very 'Forgiving', that is the best way to describe it. Was still satisfying but this new reworked combat is just so intense and visceral that I LOVE way more than the first game.
@@maxdelpo5578 I know. I for example don't get why people say that Elden Ring has great combat system. It's a great game, but It has no combat system. All animations are same whether you are hitting something or not. It's just that when some other character gets in the animation's way, it counts as hit. That's not system. There are no situational animations happening. In Hellblade 2, i felt like i'm fighting real person.
Regarding what you said about Senua resembling a Twi'lek from Star Wars, I could easily see her as a more conservatively dressed Aayla Secura. Plus, it's also worth noting that the Twi'leks were often used as Slaves. And here Senua is fighting to stop the Vikings from enslaving & sacrificing her people
Hi Sarah, you probably meant the Twi'leks race from Star Wars. I passed the first part of the adventure Price to platinum. Despite the fact that this is a walking simulator with a two-button combat system. The plot was not bad, but nothing more. I hope there will be more slasher in the second part.
What happened to Snaxan; just a little while ago, happy-go-lucky playing Eve in Stellar Blade. Then, she plays Hellsblade 1, and suddenly “We’re killing real people, now. I support this!” On the game though it seems the focus does not last as long but is more frequent, I’m I getting that right?
You're not crazy. You're right. I have the finale being edited, it's taking longer than anticipated because I decided to include the featurette as well. So the upload schedule is not reflecting the order of upload at the moment but that will soon be fixed. Also I originally had the sequel set to publish right at the embargo date lifting and I meant to change it but it already got published. If the finale of the first game doesn't get published by tomorrow I'll send you a link to the unpublished version right here on this comment.
@@SnaxanGaming It works, wait for them to block then light attack then heavy attack and it will break their guards. Just make sure you're holding the attack button long enough for it to be a heavy attack.
I think you are braining too much in those encounters and it looks weird. Its pretty simple, you mostly use fast attack (2-3) to set up your heavy attack. If they are going to attack you you use jump away button (2 times is fine for most of the enemie) then fast attack or heavy attack. You perfect Parry when you miss and enemy will counter. The reason Im saying this is because you rob yourself of many many glory combo kills. Counter kills are like the most boring ones , lol
yeah probably. I have the most fun parrying and countering and the timing takes me bit getting used to after having just played the first one and steller blade.

Can you believe there are TH-cam channels trashing this game, it’s horrible they can’t see the game for what it’s teaching
Hopefully I will avoid that videos
This is the most cinematic gaming I've ever seen. I love it, and I just started playing.
wow, now that was an experience, good gracious... looking forward to the next episode!!

Just as good as the first one, with even better graphics now. Great episode "Snaxan 💫🙌

What an intro to part 2!
That was utterly amazing!
Next-gen visuals 🤩🤩🤩
I see that you're not bothered anymore with the voices, XD but unlike before they are supportive now to senua , a bit more haha
Yes that's a really cool detail! Her journey with them showing she's getting a little more power over her demons.
Love your hairstyle looks great plus like your jean vest

What do you think of this game so far? I am liking it but there is mix reviews on it

Not going to use heavy attacks to break their guards? Lol
