British synth-pop duo Yazoo (Vince Clarke from Depeche Mode on keyboards and Alison Moyet on vocals) were known by the name Yaz in the US. They released this single in 1982 and had a huge hit with it in the UK. Other hit singles include Don't Go and Situation.
