Little (potential one-off) audio with no plot or story going on. Just me leaning a little bit into "Traditional ASMR." I'm a big fan of medical ASMR and I wanted to have a little "breather," as it were, from all the story because my life has been so busy I haven't time to really write any plot progression for anything. So I just went for something chill
But, of course, I couldn't just have a normal medical exam video. I had to give it my own fantasy spin. Which means you're an injured werewolf getting help from an unwitting veterinarian during the full moon!

Thank you! And I figure she's worked with wolves before so she's more comfortable around them and she can tell that the wolf is injured and her greatest obligation as a veterinarian is to the patient, not animal control or rangers XD Plus it's more fun for the story this way lol

It’s been a lot of fun! I have a lot of werewolves on this channel since they tend to perform really well and I really love the concept of werewolves the older I get so I like making them a lot!

To be honest that entirely depends on if people really like this one or not. If it’s reception isn’t great, it can stay as a one-off. But if people enjoyed it and let me know, it’ll probably get a continuation! 😁 (that’s not always the case but since this one was meant to be either/or, it’ll depend)

@@TallyMarkASMR I was wondering, if you don't mind me asking, do you have any tips on writing longer scripts? I feel like the most recent one I wrote was a good length on paper, but it still only made it to the seven minute mark. I guess I'm just curious if there is a general guideline for how much I need to write for a certain length of audio.

@@applejakes7627 The general guideline I use is that the average English native-speaker (or English-fluent) speaks between 100-200 words per minute (depending on how fast they talk). For audios I tend to speak a lot slower and clearer than I usually do in conversation (I’m a fast talker), but that metric is pretty standard. So if I write a 1,200 word script, it’ll end up being about 12 minutes. 700 words is around 7 minutes. Etc.
For audios with heavy plot, I script them word for word. For more casual, episodic things, I don’t. I actually have bullet-point guidelines of where I want the audio to go and I just kinda wend my way between the bullet points with improv. Which is why my last couple videos have ended up being fairly long because I had goalposts and just arrived at them when I got there and they got long 😅
But yeah. The hundred-words-per-minute is probably my best advice!

i kind of want to see a part two where the listener returns after a while and gets the bandages changed or removed or even just coming back to see the vet for a check up possibly even just a similer audio featuring some other wild animal
