I just realised that she's technically talking about the wolf who visited her, to the same wolf, just in their human form. I chuckled when I realised it, it's also going to be interesting/funny when she finds out (maybe embarrassing for her but still) Edit: just asking, but since she asked the listener to take stuff from her bag, is her bag set a distance away or is she just trying not to move, to not startle the wolf? Edit 2: I remember her saying about how healthy the fur is, as if it's being washed, so I assume the fur might be from the hair of the human form. But what happens if part of the fur is shaved (like if she had a razor and actually managed to shave the fur around the injury)? Edit 3: also, kind of surprised she didn't mention anything about the listener being able to lift the wolf. Eh, maybe she got caught up in the moment, with an injured wolf and all. But when she finds out that the wolves aren't normal wolves but werewolves, I wonder if she'll treat them more like humans who understand her or like animals? (I mean, she did talk about hiding the pill in the peanut butter, which the wolf definitely heard but still obliged, and licked from her hand, so just wondering how that'll pan out) Edit 4: well, now I wonder where the pack is, and how the listener convinced either the pack, or the wolf, to let her treat the wolf. Who knows, maybe when she finds out, the pack can strike a deal with her or something, like protection for her and/or the clinic, in return for her treating the injuries Great audio, Tally, a great continuation of the series. Can't have the listener injuring themselves often after all (or they could do that, as an excuse to see her, and get more scritches) (again, sorry for the long essay of s comment)
Yup! Same listener just in a different form and she has no clue! My thought with her bag is that she is still wearing it but she's trying to be steady to not startle the wolf. I don't really equate the hair care of the human form to the pelt care of the wolf form. I personally think they're cared for separately and the wolf fur is its own thing so if she had shaved a bit off, it wouldn't affect that wolf's human form's hair in the slightest. I mean, yeah wolves are heavy but I was imagining that it was really only the back half of the wolf being lifted just enough off the ground for her to get her arms around to wrap the bandage, which seems a little more doable than just hoisting a whole wolf off the floor. As for the pill in the peanut butter, she doesn't know that the wolf is a werewolf who can actually understand what she's saying, and a werewolf would also know that the painkiller would help so would take it anyway The pack was around. Not too far off. That's all I'll say about that XD
