When I went to Washington D.C last weekend I rode the metro into the city from that station. Most of the stations' elevators are like that. I also went to the new Wiehle-Reston East station on the silver line. You should also check out the Forest Glen station. It is 20 stories deep and there are 6 high speed elevators that go 17 feet per second to take and no escalator, there are stairs too. I didn't have time to go there because it is near the end of the red line but I will go eventually.
i dont really know what it is but when im pressing big flush buttons that push in like with dewhurst it just makes my mind so wierd but happy or even just seeing it vertually because dewhurst is so rare that Ive never seen one before
This mod is alright. It levels nicely going up but it has a big bump going down and it takes forever to level in the down direction. If WAMATA could fix that, this elevator would be so much more efficient
most train station elevators run slow just like that one!!, but other then that it is a cool elevator!!, BTW it is so funny if this was an Schindler MT cause one floor is M and the other T!!, i'm just joking around!!

dewhurst is so rare in the states.
This thing is deteriorating now. It starts with a BIG bump now. Not to mention the door's "speed"

Never really liked that larger variation of Dewhurst. I like the US89 Dewhurst fixtures :)
