@@meganbrushI'm currently reading The Power of the Dog by Don Winslow, and I'm currently rewatching Tokyo Vice season one and waiting for a UK release date for season two which has just finished streaming on Max in the U.S. Do you have an all time favorite novel or T.V show, Megan? I'm drafting up some initial plot ideas for a novel and I've written a feature film and TV mini series a good few years ago (nothing's come of it yet, of course). I'm currently unemployed and I have mild Cerebral Palsy and in all honesty I'm struggling a lot so I need to get back to something creative to lift my mood and give me something to work towards. Oohh an all time fav book or TV show would be incredibly hard to pick. Too many TV shows come to mind. I think my most watched would be The West Wing or when I was younger Gilmore Girls. 🤣
As for book, certainly my most read is The Bronze Horseman by Paulina Simons but I have so many other favs 🥰

@@meganbrush I appreciate you, I have three job interviews next week and a doctor's appointment later this month, so I'm hoping for a consultation soon to determine whether or not I can be recommended for surgery to help deal with the worsening symptoms of my condition (continuing muscle fatigue, contraction and pain in my legs). I'm 33 and thankfully I'm still able to walk unaided but there's no guarantee that without some kind of corrective surgery that'll always be the case so yeah obviously there's no cure but a corrective surgery of some kind will go a heck of a long way to making my life easier and put me back to somewhere close to where I used to be some years ago when life was easier, because if I ever ended up on crutches or in a wheelchair I don't know what I'd do. On my drive home from work today I saw a huge line of people waiting at a stall that was (apparently?) selling coconuts. And then I see you making coconut cream pie. I'll take this as a sign! (Did you follow a specific recipe?)
Also, that horror movie tradition of yours sounds like a lot of fun. (The movie that you picked looked absolutely goofy, I love it. Haha) I think I should try doing something similar myself.
It's such a fun tradition! 🥰 And since it was my first time, I just a package pie filling because I had no idea how it should taste. It was really light and delicious!
