I'm not sure. Someone else builds the underlying server that my CML runs on. He clearer states that he adds CPU, Disk and Memory when he is increasing resources, so I'm guessing there is a need for real RAM. Unsure about whether or not you could use a ssd harddrive as a virtual RAM resource.
@@aarontechtalk I just asked ChatGPT, and it says you cannot use operating system virtual memory to allocate to VM's under the hypervisor. You have to have the physical memory for the VM's you wish to run. Bummer.
