Love it. Even though I'm staying NA on my BRZ, nobody's doing such detailed DIY build stuff for these cars like your content. Can't wait to see how it progresses!
I only had 270hp with my hks turbo kit on the gen 1 and that was on the limit of traction for 255/35/18 semi slicks. With more displacement on the fa24 and your turbo kit, it would be a handful
Nice, I did the Verus mounts on mine and it makes a huge difference on track. Especially combined with the trans mount inserts. I had a couple near money shifts before due to the engine/trans moving so much. Thats completely gone now.
I’m gonna be honest the kit was a pain in the ass to install and fitment wasn’t 100% but everything works and yeah, I think bolting on a supercharger may be slightly easier
Yeah, it’s what happens when you’re in the middle of an install and you don’t have the right stuff to use. Hopefully it should be OK. If not, we have other bushings to install in it if need be. Thank you
Your new radiator looks like a 3 pass vs the 2 pass it comes with to me. My experience with the motor mounts on my Cayman is, a slight tingle tat went away around 2.000 RPM, my front mount is 70 durometer and I have WEVO semisolid for the transaxle mounts. If the mounts are to stiff the knock sensors will retard the timing and I'm sure you don't want that to happen. What boost level are you planning to run; 5 PSI with 12.5 compression? You con place a temporary radiator restrictor on the grill till warmup is achieved and a T-stat for oil cooler bypass to get oil to the desired operating temperature. Hope my tips are helpful and they are meant only in a positive way.
I’m not sure what pass the radiator is. I plan to be around 7ish psi on E85 for track duty. Once I’m driving around the motor mounts feel fine but like you said under 2000 RPMs, you can feel the vibration
Why did you go with the Verus mounts instead of the STI ones? Some of the guys on the forums say the STI mounts keep the NVH at a minimum while being much stiffer.
hey man how has the car been on track? just finished watching your video from about a year ago talking about the reliability mods you made to it for track use
Would the verus mounts be too aggressive if you primarily drive on the street with light track duty? Also we are in false fall at the moment in GA 😂 it will go hot/cold the next few weeks

Thank you!! So far it’s been fun
You are on the final tweeking
This is awsome, cant wait to see it on the track 🚗💥💨🔥
I’m excited, but also nervous 😂
Getting closer and closer to a track day!!
Dude it’s so fast with the turbo kit!! I’m a few videos away but I have to turn it down… no traction, even with the slicks
@@phelpsgarage4202 Body flare kit and wider tires next? … lol
@@lorenkrug it’s gonna need something to help put wider tires on it now

Can’t wait to feel them out on track
I love your content man you’re the reason I’m getting the car lol
I appreciate the kind words!!
Super charger could have been less involving...? Anyway awesome to see all the improvdments to your car.

They recommend SilGlyde because you don't want to use petroleum on polyurethane. Motor oil might not have been the best move.

@@phelpsgarage4202 yeah, hopefully the oil being thin will dry out before it causes an issue.

Manly for the adjustment you can get out of them
It will get hot. Don't worry.
I’m sure it will not with the turbo.. I’m still gonna get a bigger hood vent

I haven’t been on track since I moved and installed the turbo kit. I’m hoping to be on track in a few weeks

Maybe keep the softer ones, and you should be good
@@phelpsgarage4202 thanks!
