That putting display by TJ was out of this world. I’m sure he’s played the course hundreds of times but that was incredible. You also played well Pete! Best content!
I was in ireland in 2016 family vacation, we played old head golf links, it was breathtaking, some of the holes were like a video game. The 18th hole back tee box was on the side of a cliff my knees were shaking, my son at 18 was like this is so cool
I was fortunate to play the magnificent Lahinch about 30 years ago, so loved seeing this video to bring it all back. My abiding memories were the blind par 3 - i didn’t realise such a thing existed - and a tee somewhere in the middle of the round from which there was no sign of a fairway or a golf course. We had no idea in which direction to drive and had to wait for the caddies in the group behind to catch up and tell us.
Our group had an amazing trip last month and played two rounds at Lahinch. We also played Ballybunion, Tralee, Dooks, Waterville and Old Head. This is by far the best video we have seen that captures the incredible experience we had there. Great work!!!
had the pleasure of playing there on an empty course in 30mph wins with a caddie. By far and away superior to other top courses I have played included Wentworth, Woburn, Old Course etc,
Love Pete’s banter and his ability to engage not only us his audience but his non-TH-cam playing partners as well. Quality stuff and seems so natural - even though he is ‘working!’ Enjoying this more than the tv talk shows AND there are views and golf too. lol!
Thanks Peter & team for a really enjoyable day on the links! Glad the video turned out well and look forward to following the rest of your Irish trip shortly ☘️ Sláinte
Amazing place. I was fortunate enough to play college golf at Illinois State. My Junior year, my coach scheduled the team to play a "match play tournament" against local club champions from SW Ireland. We played Lahinch, Killarney, Waterville, Ballybunion, and Tralee. The weather was absolutely terrible but it was an amazing experience. I shot 74 at Waterville, 77 at Tralee, 78 at Killarney, 80 something at Lahinch and if we had played more than 15 holes and counted all the shots at Ballybunion I doubt I would have broken 100.
What a great course. TJ is such a natural golfer and supernatural putter. The secret to links golf is hit the fairways and find the greens. Well played on the back nine Pete!
I’m lucky to have played Lahinch last year. Even with constant rain and 10-20 mph winds I was smiling the whole way around. Best course in the world ☘️ 🇮🇪
oh MAN I've been waiting for you to play Lahinch! I am a midwestern American that played Lahinch ONCE on a whim because of a nice stranger on a trip to Ireland years ago and I've yearned for it since.
Bravo Pete and so good of you to share. Lahinch isn't a long course as shown in the scorebook, but finding fairways is essential while battling strong winds. I think if you played it again you could shave off 3-5 strokes and shoot par. My oldest son and I have begun preliminary talks about a golf trip to Ireland. Having now seen the course courtesy of you, it would be irresponsible to avoid the west coast of Ireland. All the best and good luck qualifying for the Open!!
Keep going, Pete. We all have bad days, just the timing. Keep working hard on the mental side that Padraig was helping you with. It's still not there yet
Was a member there 1990, One of the best golf course I've played. Mostly played the castle course due to high hcp I had in the beginning. Started playing -88
Thank you Peter for filming these beautiful courses and showing them to us. Closest thing to actually being there is watching you navigate yourself around these beauties.
His SwingQuest channel helped me from considering a hybrid set out of frustration to playing blades. Always entertaining and my favorite golf channel ⛳️ 🏌️♂️
Second time I've watched this and enjoyed it again. Very fun to watch Peter knock it around on such a difficult, amazing course. Incredible putting display by his playing partner. Thanks for the video, Peter!
I want to know his score as well! HIs ball was always on the green which meant his first putt was going in! Damn - same putter for both as well 🙂 - not a shot at Pete since this guy was just draining everything from everywhere.
Even for a +5 handicap, you could tell that he was surprising himself with how many were falling. That had to be a mid-60's round unless he had a few blowup holes that we didn't see off camera. You could tell that he pitched a few shots within gimmie distance as well! Guys that are that good with no pressure on them, it's amazing to watch.
Hi Peter, great to see you play some of the best courses in Ireland. Please tell me you played my local course Trump Doonbeg which was only 20mins away. It is definitely a must play a long with Lahinch, Ballybunion, Tralee, Waterville and Old Head.
hi pete for the last six months you guys are smashing the you tube competition your way of filming and shot tracers plus just your commentry is head n shoulders above rick sheils etc keep up the great work👍 also just a quick one ?? why is your podcast volumd so low ?? i struggle to hear it when driving ?? cheers big dog👍👍
Well done Peter welcome to Ireland on a breezy day to a beautiful but really tough Course and TJ had a really great round .you need to come back in mid September when it's a bit milder for a rematch really enjoyed the game 😊
Seriously, you make the best golf content I've seen Peter. I can't believe you don't have closer to a million subscribers. I'd love to know what TJ scored and how few putts he had as he was on fire with the putter.
What a course this is! Being a links man Pete would be great to see you hit the Kent coast and play Princes, Royal St Georges and Royal Cinque Ports… imagine you’d adore them especially the history of St Georges
Played there near enough when I first started playing golf, one a four ball at work. The 3 other lads where solid. I lost over a dozen balls but still one of the most enjoyable days out I've had golfing to date.
Brilliant course, looks like the ultimate golf experience. TJ's putting was incredible and I reckon Padraig has moved Pete's mindset to a much better place now - still work in progress though 😂
Totally agree! Have played Ballybunion, Tralee, Killarney, Mount Juliet, K Club to mention a few, and Lahinch tops them. Shot mid 70's there (I'm an average golfer) but my fondest memory was teeing off and only being able to see 150 yards due to mist. Having mist the green right with my approach I had a blind chip (the green is 15ft above you) which was received with words of "nice chip". Once I made it up the steep bank I could only see a ball 30ft from the hole, which was OK at best. So imagine my surprise when I walked past the hole and was asked whether "I would take my ball out of the hole?" Nice Chip is a bit of an understatement. Anyway, -1 after 1 and didn't see the ball finish for any of the 3 shots!
Awesome golf course. You weren't wrong, Pete. Jaw-dropping. If I ever get to the homeland, this is at the top of my list of courses to play. If only I could put like TJ. I mean, how is that even possible? No wonder he is a +5.
The west of Ireland is home to a host of genuinely great golf courses. Next time get yourself to Belmullet in County Mayo and play Carne. It’s a trek but the golf course is otherworldly.
Cheers to TJ!. Lights out on the Lab putter & refreshingly humble with his Rye smile and "thank you" on the 18th. Keep grinding Pete...Paddy's always has your back. 🍻
I know you have coastline courses closer to home, but it'd be nice to see you play Cabot cliff in Nova Scotia, I'm sure you'd love it and i'd kill to play that course! Cheers pete. Keep up the content!
Love the production again, and the course looks incredible. May I suggest you put the name of the golf course in the title or description so people can find it easier.
It's a great course and there's many others also that you should play in Ireland... So many absolutely stunning and very challenging courses both parkland and links.. And what a player to play Lahinch with, TJ has been one of the best golfers in Ireland for years coming through the underage ranks and amateur ranks, should really try go America to play as he'd make it.. Played many years against him in the provinces matchplay,The west and North of Ireland Championship and many others... An all around really good lad and golfer.
Wow, Peter. Those are very narrow fairways. It looks like the maintenance crew can now the whole course in an afternoon, WITH WALK BEHIND MOWERS! Not for hackers like me, judging by how hard it was for you. Great video.
Wow..... I'd be checking TJ's pockets for little green men. That putting is world class! I'm so jealous. The relaxed nature just adds to it too. 20 foot putt drained..... yeah, whatever. 💚 🤍 🧡
Stunning views, and a great looking course Pete..! But if you didn't have a film crew would you have found any of those balls you hit left & right into that rough..? I would love to play courses like this, but the lost ball count would bankrupt me..🤷🏽♂️🤔🤣🤣
Just the wind Peter, Lahinch is special, you really need to play the wind, those high elevation Roryesque drives not the formula, need to playing down on every tee-shot. Honestly in my experience of Lahinch, that was a quiet day. A decent but normal blow in Lahinch is 40-50km per hour. A one iron is a great club in lahinch!
Loved the Irish colours on the tracer. Somebody had a brilliant editing idea.
The tri-colour shot tracer is a think of beauty. Bravo Mr Editor! 🟢⚪🟠
That putting display by TJ was out of this world. I’m sure he’s played the course hundreds of times but that was incredible. You also played well Pete! Best content!
No point in wielding a branding iron if you don’t hole putts with it
I was in ireland in 2016 family vacation, we played old head golf links, it was breathtaking, some of the holes were like a video game. The 18th hole back tee box was on the side of a cliff my knees were shaking, my son at 18 was like this is so cool
Can we get Pete to a million subs? He has one of the best golf channels on TH-cam
I was fortunate to play the magnificent Lahinch about 30 years ago, so loved seeing this video to bring it all back. We had no idea in which direction to drive and had to wait for the caddies in the group behind to catch up and tell us.
There might be a more fun course somewhere on the planet, but I haven’t played it. Remarkable course and the members are lovely.
Our group had an amazing trip last month and played two rounds at Lahinch. We also played Ballybunion, Tralee, Dooks, Waterville and Old Head. This is by far the best video we have seen that captures the incredible experience we had there. Great work!!!

TJ is quite an unbelievable player, lovely swing allied to magic with the putter
Love Pete’s banter and his ability to engage not only us his audience but his non-TH-cam playing partners as well. Quality stuff and seems so natural - even though he is ‘working!’ Enjoying this more than the tv talk shows AND there are views and golf too. lol!
Drove by this course when I was visiting Ireland a few years back and it looked unbeleiveable. So cool to see it featured on the channel
Thanks Peter & team for a really enjoyable day on the links!
Glad the video turned out well and look forward to following the rest of your Irish trip shortly ☘️

Well played, sir! I have to ask… what did you shoot?!
Can't figure why your not at a million subscribers Pete, your my favorite UK golfer. Best of luck at your qualifier for the Open.

Incredible spot
oh MAN I've been waiting for you to play Lahinch! I am a midwestern American that played Lahinch ONCE on a whim because of a nice stranger on a trip to Ireland years ago and I've yearned for it since.
You really got lucky on that whim. It's one of the best courses on the planet. Jon Rahm says it's his favourite course of them all.
If Pete doesn't fly back to Ireland for a match play with TJ, he's just leaving likes and subscriptions on the table.
Lol. True
Any chance that Pete snuck TJ’s L.A.B. that really works into his bag before leaving? lol!
He can drive
This was top 2 for me on my Ireland/Scotland golf trip. Fantastic course!
What was No 1? Royal Dornoch?
Bravo Pete and so good of you to share. Lahinch isn't a long course as shown in the scorebook, but finding fairways is essential while battling strong winds. Get yourself to Western Gailes near Troon Pete! Even trickier on a windy day ! 💨 💨
How are millions of golfers not subscribed to Pete’s channel
really funny guy great content
Keep going, Pete. We all have bad days, just the timing. Keep working hard on the mental side that Padraig was helping you with. It's still not there yet
Don't even think it was a bad day. Course looks brutally tight and he did to well keep any double bogeys off the card.
Nice touch on the shot tracers ;) What a course 😲😲! Keep up the great content Pete! 🏌🏌
His SwingQuest channel helped me from considering a hybrid set out of frustration to playing blades. Always entertaining and my favorite golf channel ⛳️ 🏌️♂️
Played Lahinch a couple of times. Brilliant old Irish links course, Old Tom Morris design with Alister McKenzie greens. A wonderful days golf.
Really is a stunning golf course in so many ways, gut punchingly challenging with magnificent scenery
Second time I've watched this and enjoyed it again.
Very fun to watch Peter knock it around on such a difficult, amazing course. Incredible putting display by his playing partner.
Thanks for the video, Peter!
What the heck did TJ score? His putting was unworldly 🎉
Inquiring minds want to know. . .
I want to know his score as well! HIs ball was always on the green which meant his first putt was going in!
Damn - same putter for both as well 🙂 - not a shot at Pete since this guy was just draining everything from everywhere.
He sunk absolutely everything. How can they not mention the score?
Interesting that TJ doesn’t wear a glove, especially as it seems so cold.
Just some more incredible content! Lahinch looks like a dream of a course. You really do have the best "job" in the world Pete.
Lucky enough to have played this in June and what a place! Well played Pete!
Hi Peter, great to see you play some of the best courses in Ireland. Please tell me you played my local course Trump Doonbeg which was only 20mins away. It is definitely a must play a long with Lahinch, Ballybunion, Tralee, Waterville and Old Head.
Quality beyond belief , course viws golf banter redemption ❤
Beautiful course, insane display of putting
Great course one of so many in Ireland. My favourite is The Island.
Lovely course. Reminds me of Ballybunion a bit. Well played in tough conditions!
hi pete for the last six months you guys are smashing the you tube competition your way of filming and shot tracers plus just your commentry is head n shoulders above rick sheils etc keep up the great work👍 also just a quick one ?? why is your podcast volumd so low ?? i struggle to hear it when driving ?? cheers big dog👍👍
The most beautiful course I have ever seen on video.
Check out Carne, also on the west coast. The wild Atlantic dunes course is utterly spectacular
Well done Peter welcome to Ireland on a breezy day to a beautiful but really tough Course and TJ had a really great round .you need to come back in mid September when it's a bit milder for a rematch really enjoyed the game 😊

Classy getting Tiger on the video @ 12 seconds Peter! Lovely touch with the tri-colour tracer too! ❤🇮🇪💪🏼
Thanks 👍
Cracking video Pete. Lovely to see you over here in Ireland again.
What a course this is! Being a links man Pete would be great to see you hit the Kent coast and play Princes, Royal St Georges and Royal Cinque Ports… imagine you’d adore them especially the history of St Georges

Loving the colour of the shot tracker. 🇮🇪

What a beauty that golfcourse is! We do not have anything like this in Germany - not even on the coastline.
The links courses in Ireland and Scotland are like nothing else on the planet.

And throw in ballyliffin inniscrone and strandhill that would be some golf week
Hey mate great effort on all you put into the open plz don’t give up and do it next year build now for it royal portrush will have Pete there
Great video Pete but what did TJ shoot?
Class video, great banter.
Enjoyed this immensely! Had the pleasure of playing last year on a similar type of day. Pumped to see you play Old Head too!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Cheers to TJ!. Lights out on the Lab putter & refreshingly humble with his Rye smile and "thank you" on the 18th. Keep grinding Pete...Paddy's always has your back. 🍻

What an elegant course, how nice of you to take it easy on this beauty
Lahinch is a beautiful place. Be sure to visit the Cliffs of Moher while you're there. They're only 5 mins up the road.
How in the world does Peter not have more subscribers... Such great content!
Honestly the best you tube golf channel
Beautiful course and an amazing display of putting. Please play with TJ again
Another entertaining course vlog from the incomparable Peter Finch!
Gorgeous course. Excellent strikes, just typical links bounces and not knowing the course. TJ strikes it smooth 👍
WOW what a track awesome video TJ GET HIM BACK ON CAN PLAY👍👍👍👍👍
Playing down there in 3 weeks, I’ll be watching this again the night before…
Love the production again, and the course looks incredible. May I suggest you put the name of the golf course in the title or description so people can find it easier.
No glove… love it
Show us TJ’s round!
Beautiful course! Had the opportunity to play it once. Definitely a bucket list course!
Wow, Peter. Those are very narrow fairways. It looks like the maintenance crew can now the whole course in an afternoon, WITH WALK BEHIND MOWERS! Not for hackers like me, judging by how hard it was for you. Great video.
Hands down one of, if not the, best golf channels on TH-cam. As always brilliant content!! Curious, what did TJ score?
What a brilliant course. I would shoot triple digits but I would love every minute of it.
Good stuff. It would be good to perhaps see a short bit at the start driving out to the course as a taster of anticipation?.
Had a hole in one on the 8th with the same pin position. Will never forget.
Hopefully you'll have a video in Ballybunion someday Pete. Another very good test for you
Pete if you loved Lahinch, please try Tralee and Waterville, they are some of the greatest links courses, just jaw dropping.
Tough course. Really enjoyed watching that round
One of my all-time favorite courses that I've played.
Wow what a amazing looking course..
Straight in to my wish list.
Guy from New Galloway
TJ, a humble but talented fella.
Wow what a course! And what a putter TJ is...that was so good to watch - yet another on my list of 'must play' - the list is long...
Wow played that course in the early 90’s, along with Killarney and Ballybunion, great courses and great Guiness :)).
I've been surfing at Lahinch.
Wow..... I'd be checking TJ's pockets for little green men. That putting is world class! I'm so jealous. The relaxed nature just adds to it too. 20 foot putt drained..... yeah, whatever. 💚 🤍 🧡
10:47 I just died a little😂😂😂😂 Peter you naugty boy!
Stunning views, and a great looking course Pete..! But if you didn't have a film crew would you have found any of those balls you hit left & right into that rough..? I would love to play courses like this, but the lost ball count would bankrupt me..🤷🏽♂️🤔🤣🤣
What a Stunning course!!!
Pete’s sense of humor is one of my favorite things on TH-cam
It’s not cursed is it. If I sit down I don’t have to like; stay here forever. Brilliant. PMSL
That man TJ is an absolute machine with a putter on his hands!
Best TH-cam video and channel of all time.
Facts.
Superb content Finchy. Cheers. ❤🎉
I love the colors on the shot tracers!
That lab putter is growing on me. Looks pretty good and TJ was really dialed with it!
Another fabulous video. Is TJ giving any putting lessons. I've never seen such consistent putting, ever.
Just the wind Peter, Lahinch is special, you really need to play the wind, those high elevation Roryesque drives not the formula, need to playing down on every tee-shot.
