My hubs and I lived in this same model mobile home in a park in Huntington beach, California. We loved it and lived there until our son was old enough he needed his own bedroom. My mom was gutted when she heard we were going to live in a mobile home park until she came to visit then she was hooked! Across the highway from the beach, wonderful neighbors and the mobile home was gorgeous. It was everything.
Best trailer ever made before Hude changed the standards we love that you have saved it all like it was People think new is better but it is not .Thank You for sharing
I would hate to have to get repairs on the classic refrigerator and the built in stove. My early 2000's era refrigerator quit working about two years ago, I tried to get it repaired but the repair guy said the compressor froze up and it would cost more to repair than paying $700 for a new one. I ended up replacing the refrigerator. It also looks like a new refrigerator wouldn't fit in that spot without removing the cabinets above it.
Just saw our first Spartan Carousal in person. Outstanding styling and functionality. Of course, it is HUGE, so not for camping. This would easily transition a person from “trailer trash” to “trailer royalty”. In the process of buying our first Spartan, a 1946 Manor. It’s serial number (there were no VINs back then, only serial numbers) indicates it was likely built the same month I was born. Spartans had the best overall styling of the “silver bullet” (with a very few exceptions). Great looking Carousel.
Actually, the "trailer trash" rumor is not factual. I have lived in a trailer park for 30 years, we have a few questionable characters but on the whole the people are normal, many actually have good lives and are relatively wealthy compared to some areas of the county. We don't have any trailers from this era, though, as it was built in 1983. My trailer is from the early 1990's.
This fills me with nostalgia. I lived in a 1959 Marlette when I was in graduate school. The trailer was cute, complete and cheap for a college student. I have nothing but warm fuzzy memories of it. (and I have a degree)
Had the opportunity to buy one identical to this one for $800 about 23 years ago. It was being used as a storage shed on a farm. Other than needing some major cleaning and some light cosmetic stuff, it was in excellent original condition. Still kicking myself today for not jumping on it, especially when I see something like this.
This "Spartan" is anything but! 😁 I've never seen an in-wall oven in a trailer before. Vintage is very refreshing, after so many years of monochrome modern.
So well kept. I’m sure this was gone (sold) in seconds flat. I already have a 25’ Spartan but I want a Carousel SO bad. Unfortunately they are hard to come by at any price.
What is the pink object above the oven at 1:54? Love the kitchen, round countertop and pink appliances! This '60 model looks extremely well built. I think mobile homes from the '40s to the mid-'60s were well-built, with marine-grade wood, strong steel and aluminum and good quality control!
Just recently bought a property. I was looking for a treasure, but didn’t find anything and all along. This trailer was standing there. Me and my family wanna restore it to a 90% original
Cute retro home..love the pink kitchen sink and appliances and pink bathroom too..not fond of the dark panelling in the bedroom though..way too dark in there..
All Spartan trailers were made by an airplane company and they're all riveted and everything really well and they're all aluminum and insulated re roewell they're actually better than an air stream
That kitchen will never look old!
We had it sold several times and deals kept falling through, our son is living in it now and he's super cozy. It all worked out! Cool trailer life!
Glad it All Turned out ok for you and your family

Sweet mother of God what a cozy trailer is this. Love it's still original and usable.

"WOW!" "THAN SPARTAN CAROUSEL IS TOP OF THE LINE!" It reminds me of my Grand parents old mobile trailer.
That is amazing, it is almost like going back in time! I love that kitchen ceiling!
All those windows are glorious. What a charming cottage.
Be still my heart! What a beauty....this is my dream home! ❤️😍

The object above the stove is a cake tin.
Omg that its gorgeous
I want one of these so bad
Imagine living in one of these daily.
Love this house
What a beautiful time capsule
A long time ago, I had a dream that this was my house and I can swear that I've never seen this house before.
I’d love to have one to live in. I’ve been looking at campers and tiny houses.
Fabulous- living the dream
This thing is amazing 😎
Black spots on lense kinda distracting. That thing is gargantuan! Windows in living area are amazing.
Love all of the windows.
i deeply love this
Wow, what a beauty.
GORGEOUS!
hey there Jeff. The trailer is in grants pass Oregon and is 80k. Look at grants pass Oregon craigslist for my contact information. Thanks, Shawn-
WOW!!!! Beautiful!!!
I love it❤️
Like stepping back in time.....
😻 love it
LOVE THIS SO SO MUCH!
I love my Spartanette Tandem but boy, this is the ultimate!
Sweet, I wouldn’t change a thing
I love the windows!
I'm in love!
I used to rehab mobile homes. Always leave cabinets open and have some air circulation because they get musty.
I couldn't help but notice the parking meter . Is that Jack Benny's old camper ?
I love the pink appliances
Very nice 👍👍
Love it! ❤❤❤❤❤
Wow beautiful
Idk. It is gorgeous!!
These trailers were 10 feet wide and 50 feet long!
Oh I just love it.
Just recently bought a property. I was looking for a treasure, but didn’t find anything and all along. This trailer was standing there. Me and my family wanna restore it to a 90% original
What a nice home
Are you asking 80K for the Spartan by itself or trailer lot, land, ect.
I can't find a listing for it ?
When I was a kid in the 60s. I thought these were cool. They still are.
Why would you open the oven?
This mobile home 🏠 is emaculate and very beautiful ❤️☺️👍🏽💯
Just a note, if you don’t want to talk through a video, ad music to it when you post it, it really helps
Beautiful'' Like to have this.
Proof that they don't make them like this anymore...
Hello is this still for sale? If so I’m interested, thank you
Yes, it is 641.660.6601
Hello there Wildflower. Yes it still is for sale.
Nice, liking it already for a tin can!😂😂😂 great amount of windows! Wow! Is it a house? Love the pink tub. Quality A1!
what a beaut!
The penny meter is a nice touch!!
Is it a 10×70? How long and wide? Dimensions.
Can someone help them with furnishings? Otherwise a beautiful Spartan.
its about 11 wide and 50 feet long.
Cute retro home..love the pink kitchen sink and appliances and pink bathroom too..not fond of the dark panelling in the bedroom though..way too dark in there..
Is this still available? Where is it? How much?
The damn moving costs same thing happened to a buddy of mine! Had to let go of a FREE 3 bedroom!
This is pretty "dreamy" ..Where is it located and what was the asking price?
Why did take so long to go Inside.Nice inside and outside but Small.
Wow that's got to be very heavy!
What's the stats on that beauty?
They were built from aluminum like an airplane, no wood framing. They are very light and easy to tow.
At 12' wide, you won't be hooking that up to a pick up. It weighs more than you think, over 8,000#.
nice is this for sale
Very cool. I could live in that. 4:11
Whooo !! 😮😮😮
Wow❤
This looks really Big
All Spartan trailers were made by an airplane company and they're all riveted and everything really well and they're all aluminum and insulated re roewell they're actually better than an air stream
Nice
I have those kitchen canisters.
You didn’t focus on the kitchen ceiling, that and the curved counter top is WHY it’s called a carousel!
