The rodeo scene happened in my town, lol. A lot of the older people were pissed and thought he made the town look racist. Those of us who were teens at the time thought it was hilarious, and the old racists just exposed themselves.

almost everything here is improv and actually happend... and people did say those things 25:20 well it wasn't. under one reaction i watched there was even someone who claimed he was part of that conference and he did talk a bit story behind the event (that it was real) 28:10 nope they are not, after the movie they had lot of lawsuits because people were mad it aired and show these moments, if i recall correctly this dude/his family was one of people who sued
The village at the beginning that is supposed to be Kazakh is not in Greece, but, pretty close by... it was actually filmed in the Romanian village of Glod... which I think translates to English as "dirt," and is home mostly to Roma.
Ok now, this is my literal FAVORITE movie... and This is quite literally THEE ONE movie that you DONT want to talk over because borat is delivering comedy gold every other minute & you end up missing out on the context of why people reacted a certain way because you were busy talking over borats setup, & then the that follows from people.. Which FYI, only Pamela, Lunell, Azamat, & Borat & maybe a few of the obvious characters in "Kazakhstan" were actors & in on the joke of the film.. the rest assumed he was truly filming a documentary for his country of the American experience.
@@greekguyreacts1376yeah, it's a pretty long drive, for Americans..... in Canada, Newfoundland to British Columbia is at least 5 day drive! It takes 20hrs just to go through my province alone lol.

Borat speaks Hebrew as "Kazaki language" (SBC is Jewish) while his director speaks actually Armenian language (his native tongue).
