I am living in North America,
As a Muslim, I would like to live in the Middle East to experience Islamic values. For me, Islamic values include worldly matters.

Very well said mam. There is no competition between the children who try to compit specially in education with his/her classmates. If really want to grow your children..u need a healthy environment.

For living the Dubai is for the richest people. 2nd community is for those who serve them not for the middle man or lower category people.

very nice podcast, I love it. Batool(hope I spelled it correct) you and Behroz are nice parents but I underline one thing that let kids enjoy their bachpan naturally. Hope you get it. In my time those who were in Eng medium were copycat kids compare to those who were in local language school ,now time has changed a lot. My both daughters were in Gujarati school and I was the only one who did it. Friends were telling me not to do this, today both my daughters are well settled, one in Canada and another is working with India's top software company. Language is never a barrier. Sorry for preaching

Salam Batool, you must be knowing that setting up business in Dubai is quite faster and easier, how about in North America?

In my experience it’s far more easier in North America.. you can simply do it online in less than 20 mins..

Interestingly, this so-called "Canada Influencer" jumped to US at the first self-serving opportunity.

In Dubai if you are white then the locals will respect you but for Pakistanis and Indians locals there look at them down. I was in UAE for long time and my uncles were there when the UAE was under British control they got their own property but they couldn't get the citizenship there eventhough lived there for very long time. I am living in Canada and happy because I am citizen here and can travel any country without any problem. It is huge country and full of natural sites. I am not wealthy but have everything means necessities of life. My kids studied in good schools and I didn't stressed out about their school fee how to pay. And same goes for Healthcare. The problem with third world is and even Gulf countries come in the third world. If you are poor your kids will remain poor because you can't afford to give them good education in good school and universities. Basically schools there are for profits. Good thing about Western world is how poor you are but your kids will go to the same school as everyone else and education is free up to university level in Europe and in North America the government will loan you money to study. So two different world. I would never go to Dubai and live even if the money grow there on trees. What is there only malls no nature and small country with desert. Every third or fourth year go for visa renewal get your blood test and submit to authorities for visa and if you have any serious illness then they will deport you. Every Desi look at life to make money and this is their dream nothing else. When I was there in 2004 I used to pay for my son for his grade one monthly fee of dirham 800 per month. He was in Sharjah British school just imagine. And Pakistanis and Indians whose parents don't earn good money used to send their kids to cheaper schools. And being a foreigner you couldn't go to their government funded schools because those schools were for their citizens only. Openly discrimination. In Western countries even if you are staying illegally and don't have papers but still they will provide education to your kids until grade 12 and Healthcare for free regardless of your color and background.

I agree with you. There’s a lot of disparity in the Middle East and after a while it gets to you.

Absolutely, UAE is very near to Pakistan, maximum 2 hours flight. Safest place on earth for women & kids. Islamic country and no racism. Wathing up to 20:00 minutes and up to now not even a single point is convincing to leave Dubai.

@zohaibrahmanofficial exactly 💯 you are right. I have visited over 23 countries and I can tell UAE is the best but sad they don't give permanent residency unless you're a billionaire. That's why I moved to Canada 🇨🇦 but I hope in the future I would move back to the UAE.
