You, pretty much, become a bat or, in Jaller's case, a dolphin. With it, you are aware of everything that is and happens around you. It's not really powerfull compare to other masks, but it is really usefull.

The two masks are different and Karzahni most likely did not create the masks he gave to the Matoran. Bear in mind that the Elda was specifically made for seeking the Ignika.
@@XboxTF2Tidbits pretty much. The Arthron works via sonar and on a larger area and therfore only detects beings if they move or are close enough to sense their shape. The Elda somehow detects beings including spirits in the user's vicinity and with its primary function for seeking the sentient mask of life, it fills the niche of detection for sentience/ life.

Isn’t the Elda more for spirits and things but the Arthron is just used for things physically there but just invisible
