【華富邨】
華富村は1960年代から建設されてきた公営住宅群です。
香港島の西端、薄扶林と香港仔の間に位置しています。
海に面して景観も良いことから、建設当初は「平民の豪邸」と呼ばれていました。
但し、交通の便が悪く、日本占領時代の墓地跡でもあったため、入居希望者は少なかったようです。
建物も老朽化が進み、建て替えの時期を迎えており、建設時期の古い建物から順次解体されてゆく計画で、1968年に完成した「華安楼」と「華楽楼」は2026年から解体工事が始まります。
直線で構成された香港らしい建物の外観はとても美しいです。
華富道沿いの美しい景観は近い将来見ることができなくなります。

[Wah Fu Estate]
Wah Fu Estate is a public housing complex that has been built since the 1960s.
It is located on the western edge of Hong Kong Island, between Pok Fu Lam and Aberdeen.
When it was first built, it was called the "commoner's mansion" because it faces the sea and has a beautiful view.
However, it was not well-connected and was also the site of a cemetery from the Japanese occupation, so there were few applicants.
The buildings are aging and need to be replaced, and the plan is to demolish the older buildings one by one, with demolition work starting in 2026 for "Wah On House" and "Wah Lok House," which were completed in 1968.
The exterior of the buildings, which are typical of Hong Kong and are composed of straight lines, is very beautiful.
The beautiful scenery along Wah Fu Road will no longer be visible in the near future.
