九龍城をスナップした動画と写真です。
九龍城は潮州方面から移住してきた人々の子孫が多く住んでいます。
また、タイからの移住者による「リトルタイランド」とも称されるコミュニティも形成されており、市内にはタイ料理店、食材店も数多くあります。
啓徳空港の着陸コースの真下に位置したこともあり、低層の唐楼が非常に多く、バルコニーがそのまま残っている建物や騎楼式の唐楼も現存し、その幾つかはカフェなどにリノベーションされて利用されています。
戦後に建てられた第4世代唐楼は老朽化が進み、建て替えが必要な時期を迎えており、徐々にその景観は変わって行く事でしょう。
Kowloon City is home to many descendants of people who immigrated from the ChaoZhou area.
A community nicknamed "Little Thailand" has also formed by immigrants from Thailand, and the city is home to many Thai restaurants and grocery stores.
As it is located directly below the landing course of Kai Tak Airport, there are many low-rise Tong Lau, and even buildings with balconies still intact and kairou-style tong towers still exist, some of which have been renovated into cafes and other establishments.
The fourth-generation Tong Lau built after the war are deteriorating and need to be replaced, so the landscape will likely change gradually.
