From what I’ve seen of eve stuff zingai can still interact with physical things so Mr creepypasta prob did kill his dad, also zingai usually have powers and Mr creepypasta’s power is to give people hallucinations, I always though that he sealed away the main characters trauma with these hallucinations and I thought that everyone having balloon heads was one of these hallucinations, also the eye above the fake dream world is most likely his eye meaning it’s a world he made probably, him crying at the end before having his bottom eye shot out is probably him realizing that although he tried to protect the mc from his trauma he seemingly only made things worse, zingai are basically there to help a person through their issues or make the issues worse, the latter usually eats and fuses with their host if it gets to bad, but Mr creepypasta is seemingly trying to help but ends up failing
yeah that could be the case!! i think from a lot of his MVs i did see zingai interacting with humans, even tobi was fighting a lot of them but the scenery does not really seem like a human world, that's why i'm still confused on how they would be able to do stuff in the human world... i do agree tho he was trying to help.....which makes me sad because it's my first time seeing a zingai so affectionate towards their host....:"((
That's a very interesting interpretation- see, when I watched it, seeing the chord around the father's neck followed immediately by Fuchi's drawing of Mr creepypasta was a way of representing that Fuchi did to his father as he did in the sh*oting, kill while within a unaware, insomniac state
I used to think this music video was just an overly elaborate Fight Club reference, not helped by the fact that I don't know japanese. Thank you for broadening my perspective!
like the titel he has also insomnia, wich i had for a freaking long time. That is why the video is so messy and chaotic. It also makes you extreamly tired and yes sick. I could not eat because i would throw up right after because of the lack of sleep i felt always sick to the stomach. After some time you begin to hallucinate. Just wanted to add that because the music video resonated extremly to me and with the simptoms i had whilst suffering from insomnia.
Great video! I also noticed a few other things that might be of significance. First, at 3:08 in the MV there is a frame of a drawing of his parents and creepypasta but his mother is blacked out which might mean that she died at birth or shortly after which would also explain his dad drifting into alcoholism. Second, in the scene where he starts running from the cops he runs by a window and at first it's his kid self being in control and we see his current self as the reflection and right after it's switched and he tries to go back to presumably turn himself in which his young self stops right in his tracks. This was very fun to analyze but damn it's a depressing story.
I really love インソムニア's MV, I completely comprehend and agree with your point of view, yet, in my opinion, Mr Creepypasta did exist before "buchi" created it, after all, it's a Zingai, just like the backpack of tobi, and I think that the eye bleeding of Mr. Creepypasta wasn't really because Fuchi "shot" him, but because he used his Zingai powers to protect him in that dream world and Fuchi broke that barrier after being in between life and death.
Zingai can actually force exit people from living, even if they aren't that persons Zingai. So basically, they're invisible demons born from the hearts of man. Which is really bad if you think about how Tobi's Zingai operates, if he had less control of that thing it'd be a massacre.
This music video Insomnia by Eve is a masterpiece ! I like your analysis, I already understood these points, but that was great to hear them. Good job 👏🏼.
+ Just, I don't think Sunao has an other identity, I think that he has depersonalization, because of his depression and, as a result, saw himself with hindsight.
Thanks for analysis! After the mv was out, i actually never slowed down to see memory scene (saw some comments mentioning about it in official video though) despite listening to it for many times lol so that’s new for me (fuchi childhood situation totally reminded me of shoto from mha omg)
I think Mr. Creepypasta might have come to Bucchi to help in some way. I think if they were creating a character with DID (which I think they are), it could be that the writer(s) purposefully made it look like that Mr. Creepypasta was another alter as maybe that's how Fuchi sees him, since Bucchi and Mr. Creepypasta are people that exist to him outside of fiction that he's able to recognize. Mr. Creepypasta is and has already existed in the real world, but the animators made it seem like he wasn't, because that then puts us in the shoes of Fuchi. I hope that makes sense. I'm not sure how much that might mess up the DID theory, since for it to develop, there can't be any parental figures in the child's life (at least that's what we know right now). It could be that Mr. Creepypasta might have shown up later in his life outside of the developmental years for the disorder. I'm not sure, lol. I also want to make one correction about BPD (though I see I'm very late to this so people have probably mentioned it): I think BPD wasn't a great example to use for disorders that can be fully cured. The symptoms can be lessoned with therapy and medication, but it can't be completely cured (coming from someone seeking a diagnosis) !! This was such an amazing analysis! Everything about is really well researched and edited, and it's all very cohesive. I also love that you share your feelings throughout the video - you basically voiced everything I felt (the mc in this one is going through TOO much ;-;;). Thank you for the great video!!
From what i see what what makes this MV so confusing to watch is that it shows the internal timeline of both personas of Fuchi, and the external time from outsiders, aka, first you see the events from lil fuchi perspective after he goes to bed, than you see the outsider perspective after it resets to that bedscene (thats why no ballons are in the subway). Than still on the plaza grownup fuchi starts to awake which plays out similar to his fantasy during his workshift, both alternative personalieties clash together, there realities bleed together when the sky eye explodes, and he is still on the plaza during the accident
yes!! as i stated in the description A LOT of the resources i found here is actually from her new video about sarah mclinn’s case, it reaally helps a lot since she always gave notes on her sources in her show notes, she’s amazing😭😭 the water analogy is actually an explanation from a well known psychologist, and i feel like it is such a good explanation to make people understand how people develop DID so i end up using it too!!
Maybe the eye in the sky works similar like bouto, a realm where zingai traps people (in bouto every person wear a paper mask hiding his face except for all the zingais, maybe similar to the balloons head in this video)but that realm is an illusion maybe child fuchi was traped like the girl in bouto but the main fuchi did not but still was affected by a secondary effects (ballon heads)when fuchi was thinking about kill the customer he share the memory/emotions and his childish version without self control he start breaking the domain and mr.creepypasta trying to prevent it take him in a walk ,a real walk when everything go wrong and make fuchi enter the domain. In that place he can share a better link with his childish version and that make him realize everything.
yoo, I'm a person having did and I think you pretty much understood everything but actually did can be "cured". it's dangerous (because you just put all the water in one cup lmao) and a lot of people don't do it but as alters are shatters or one personality that split, they can also like merge (english is my second language, this is hard). So at first when I saw the video I thought that they merged and that it was why fugi got the memories. Also usually, alters have triggers and I didn't see any and that's kinda odd because you alwals get triggered when you have did. but that's a cool video, i like it. Keep going you're doing great! ^^
a rule of thumb i picked up for youtube: if the channel is in a language you dont understand, or weirdly dead silent despite having some form of information being portrayed and theres captions available, check into it i think the name is Primitive Technology, watched em for years cause i loved the hands in the dirt, out in nature, building stuff (plus i think thats the only asmr i actually can enjoy- dude never said a word, only sound was what he was doing and the forest around em) turns out in the captions he gives in depth detail of what hes doing, where he learned it n such- i was sorta salty but hey i now had years worth of "new" content to watch so >shrug
This is just my own understanding of the MV. I just wanted to yap haha. My apologies if it sounds like nonsensical ramblings. Fuchi was abused as a child by his family and it was Mr creepypasta who "liberated" him from their abuse. Mr creepypasta created this "dream-like world", the one in yellow tone, as a place for Fuchi to escape the trauma by living out his child-like impulses, such as his "pew pew" tendencies, which is also why the Fuchi in the dream world is in the form of a child. The reason his eyes turned yellow is a sign of his disillusion of reality, kind of hinted by the frame where it turns yellow, the statement "rebirth" flashes alongside it. The overarching idea is that Mr creepypasta now helps Fuchi sleep through his insomnia by letting him "dream" as his body rests, kind of like putting him to sleep. Except Fuchi doesn't sleep. In somewhat of a state of delirium he sleepwalks into the streets with a model gun to play out his impulses. But it isn't that he is unaware, only half, shown by the eye that opens up in the sky. As he plays and plays with Mr creepypasta, he reaches the end of his "dream" and wakes up in his bed. At the second half of the MV, it replays the same day but outside the dream world, showing Fuchi himself doing the deeds he did in the first half of the MV. This all leads to the final part of the MV, the realization. Fuchi realizes the truth and faces his impulses forged by Mr creepypasta giving him the dream world as a playground, the part of him still stuck in his childhood. Until he decides to move on and comforts the child, the reflection of his innocence robbed by his parents. This is also shown with him shattering the eye forged by Mr creepypasta in the dream world, truly opening his eyes to reality. A creative part of how this is shown is through the balloon syndrome. We are told that the balloon syndrome is something that Fuchi has which makes him see other people's faces as balloons. Throughout the first two parts of the MV, it is a constant theme as whenever he is in reality, everyone is a balloon. But that is not the case for when he is running amok with the model gun, because he is not seeing reality at the time, but the dream world. So now that he has shattered the illusion, we can see the tattered parts of the dream world slowly breaking away and the realization that Fuchi only sees the balloons in the dream world. My take is that the balloon syndrome is what Fuchi doesn't want to see, which Mr creepypasta helps with that by making them a balloon in his eyes. Fuchi internally have never grown past his traumas and have been stuck as a child ever since. We see at the end once he had decided to move on from his trauma and grow up, the balloons starts flying off of the people in the dream world as Fuchi abandons the illusion cast by Mr creepypasta. I'm honestly amazed by how they have managed to pack such an intricate story into a singular song and MV. Which is an amazing promotion to Inochi no Tabekata, making me want to read it even more haha.

my interpretation is that Fuchi's dream was too be free from the dream world and be able to see what people finally looked like thats why in one of the scenes theres a truck being driven by nobody it was Mr Creepypasta that ran him over to fulfill that dream and my guess is that Mr Creepypasta closed his eyes in the end as some sort of sign of approval

I just got that idea: we can see that only one eye of Mr. CreepyPasta was shot, and as u mentioned in the video, MC had 3 alters (normal, child, parental). What if the eyes (of Mr. CreepyPasta) represent those different alters and as MC shot one of his eyes, it means that he "killed" his child alter. Also, Mr. CreepyPasta looked like he accepted the fact that MC killed that alter. But that's just my theory :)
I also noticed that Fuchi's eye was injured too at the end of the mv, so maybe mr. Creepypasta is his alter ego... or it might have been the way to get rid of him or smth

Mr creepypasta strangled the dad to death after the dad poured steaming water on Sunao
That's a very interesting interpretation- see, when I watched it, seeing the chord around the father's neck followed immediately by Fuchi's drawing of Mr creepypasta was a way of representing that Fuchi did to his father as he did in the sh*oting, kill while within a unaware, insomniac state
I thought that maybe he put in his head that mr.creepypasta killed his dad but he did it instead which is kinda hard to do so maybe you're right...

Just realized someone wrote the same but better
I thought Mr creepypasta's eye was hurt because Fuchi hurt his own eye and the injury also affected Mr.creepypasta
