Very nice ,probably best suited for base camp or car camping like you said ,starting to like it more the more i see it . I'm not sure yet if i want to take the plunge yet .great review, brother .God bless you and your family, and happy camping 🏕 😀 😊 😄 🙏. Lee
You could always drill some holes in a metal bucket. You would also have a handy handle on it to carry it around. To be a bit more serious, I actually really like it. I still have my grumpy stove for when I need something more packable. It's good to have both. Much bigger firethat you don't have to continously feed on this one. My contract at Warnbond says they will be having some black Friday discounts if you do decide you want one. Happy camping Lee mate. God bless
The size also has its advantages. You can get a fair sized fire in there. I will still be using my Savotta stove on any longer hikes. I don't think this one will be going to far away from the car 😂. But for short hikes or just a couple of beers in the woods, I think this will be great. Thanks for watching Eileen
Nice review Tim, thanks! As you and others point out it’s a bit bulky and heavy for some of us. But looks well made and functional for many other situations. Glad to see you getting snow! After I left you last week I went up there for a moonlight hike and grill, there was only a skiff of snow. But I did get a nice aurora display even with the full moon. Cheers, mate, and a pat on the head to Unni!
Thank you Mark, and thanks for the package, awesome stuff. A fair bit of snow now and lots of clients all of a sudden. With the snow comes mayhem 😂. Was fantastic to meet you. Are you back home now? I bet Maggie missed you. Glad you had a nice evening with northern lights.
You all are so fortunate to see the Northern Lights.Like neat little adventures like yours. We did get to see them on the East Coast in the US back in October.Saw some green and a lot of red but naked eye didnt show up the colors. We got some amazing pics with our cameras though. We took a drive to a clear sky with a thermos of coffee, was a great evening.👍
I like it a lot Tim bro ! .. I see the Unni beastie is expecting lunch ! 😉😁🐾🐾 I expect that stove would bode well in a really heavy winter with all the relative winds and storms.. sweet to get your one for free .. superb !! ..bonus !! The tool kit looks awesome !! ..if it's heavy ..it's your brother !! lol 😉😁
Cheers Andy, Unni knows she isn't getting any food 😂. No begging or treats from my plate. She is far too food focused for that to be a good idea. I wouldn't be able to eat in peace ever 😂. It's a pretty decent stove mate. Thanks for watching.
@@KuukkeliBushcraft Ha ha ! ..I once left my lunch on a low table to answer a phone call .. lol.. when I got back five minutes later the plate was clean ! 😂😂..guess who the 'food taster' was !! 😉😮😂🐾
White does show up the soot pretty bad 😂. It's a good stove though. Definitely not taking it on any long hikes though, but at least it's big enough to make a decent sized fire. Thanks for watching mate.
I like the rectangular shape and the pot stand.. but overall it seems heavy and voluminous when compared to a solostove titan or a solostove campfire. thanks for sharing
I think compared to my other stoves it is better in every way except for packability and portability. It also has no moving parts to break or sheets of metal to warp with the heat. I will still be using my savotta grumpy stove on any long hikes. I intend to get a lot of use out of this one. But I don't think it will be going very far from the car. Thanks for watching mate.
What a lovely pellet scoop. I was going to hazard the suggestion that the white coating is for improved radiation, however my investigations suggest that matte black is the best choice for this purpose and would improve radiation by a whole 1% over white. So I guess it's just stock winter camo. Did you ever send me a coin of the realm, btw? :D
I think the white colour is just to look nice. I don't think it is really aimed at practical people or people who pick up dog poo for a living. More car campers with nice clean tents or people who might one day have a fire in the garden one day with a glass of martini 😂. It's still a good stove, I think I am going to get a lot of use out of it. The coin is in an envelope in my car. It apparently can't be sent as an ordinary letter so has to be bloody expensive. To make it worth while I am going to send something else with it. Probably on Monday. Sorry it's taken so long. I don't like to owe money 💰
Is it cumbersome? Looks like a type of stove you take with you in a vehicle to get to your destination. Not a back pack. I have been wrong before though. Looks well thought out and engineered.
Hi Gruggs, no it's really not very compact. Like I said in the video it won't be coming on any long hikes. I have other stoves for that. On the other hand if I am not going far from the car, you can get a good sized fire in it and there are no moving parts to break or individual sheets of metal to warp with the heat. Thanks for watching mate.
The bulkyness does have some advantages though. You can get a decent sized fire in there and don't have to keep on adding so much fuel and no hinges or pins to break or sheets of metal to warp with the heat. I will still be using my savotta grumpy stove for any real hikes. But when I am not going far from the car, I think this will be perfect. Thanks for watching mate.
I still have my Savotta stove if I want to cover any distance. But this should be a better option if I am not going far from the car. It's certainly not very compact. Thanks for watching Dan

Didn't realise when I uploaded, me not reading my emails properly again. 10 percent discount with the code TIM10.
lol the white is definitely a head scratcher lad! my other criticism would just be size, but it looks to be a cracking little stove.

Interesting little stove....
Tanks Jeff. I like it, I won't be taking it on any longer hikes though. Not compact enough.
Looks like a nice stove. White isn’t the worst color. Thanks 🎸🔪

What kind of shenanigans was Unni doing at 5:28, is she demolishing the entire hut???
Doing bad stuff.
What a lovely pellet scoop.

Thank you my friend.
As you said, it's too bulky to carry for my liking, though it does look well made

it is bulky. I think I'll stick with my Firebox stove, just on packable size alone. Looks like it would be best used with a dog sled team.

Very bulky, looks like a peddle bin.👍🏻😂👍🏻
Well if its a metal peddle bin that would work too😂.
Maybe I should do a comparison video.
Thanks for watching mate.
@KuukkeliBushcraft 😂😂👍🏻, it seems to work well, just better flat pack options on the market. 👍🏻

Just having a good old scratch against the wall. I think she may have caught fleas off Litja.
