Interesting, not tested myself with newer one, but seems they maybe cut cost and made the grilles thinner for newer models? I've had the original marble HD600 for 14 years of daily use, never had a dent in the metal, also have sanded lightly a handful of times to remove rust and still no issues with strength. There is no give to the metal when I press on mine with decent force.
Nice review! Have you tried the audio technical R70X? How do you think these compare to them? I love how natural instruments sound on the 600. Even after owning the Arya stealth and the Clear, the overall “naturalness”of the midrange; the timbre; is, to my ears, the best on these. Yeah, they get absolutely stomped in all other areas but man this headphone is something you truly appreciate after you are done chasing the end game.
I actually posted my review of the ATH-R70X the other day, and yeah I like them a lot. they're a little more bass-forward, but not to an insulting degree, and I kind of think they're more comfortable. these others you mention are ones I'd like to buy at some point, but those price tags...
@@morgaboy01189 Oh, srry xD I mean, which one is better in sound and technicalities? Already have the HD600 og, sounds very good but I want another open back… like Hi-X65
i dont think people can review a product to death cause opinions change and updates or newer models rolls out and your review might be new to someone that never seen these headphones or only heard a mention of it

they must have made it thinner then, not that I can blame them... little cheaper, little lighter, it's not a structural bit so... fair enough, to me.

Looking forward for disassembly
Same, these things are WHACKY inside and I can't wait to document it.
Hi , great video, if you fit the custom cans bass mod, it sounds help with the bass at the lower end . Regards mark
This HD600 vs Hi-X65?
if you're asking preference, HD600 by a huge margin. it sounds better and there are replacement parts.
