    I bought this model as a birthday present for a friend who has been using it as his daily driver for almost a year now. He liked it so much that I ended up purchasing another one for myself a few months ago, and I immediately adopted it. It is a very good product, I highly recommend it.

    Nice review thanks. I have the predecessor of this (SK621) and it's portability is superb. The RGB effects are great too, on the downside it is tricky to type on as the keys are flat like a laptop keyboard. It does the job for a bit of wireless living room gaming from the couch. I also have the Razer Blackwidow V3 mini, this is a much better keyboard for typing and daily use but the trade off is portability, it would be quite bulky to carry around with a laptop.

    Thanks mate, i bought this on a whim at the guanghua plaza in taipei city today. I saw MANY cheaper ones as I moved each floor and I sort of regretted buying it because of the price. But after watching this I actually really love it, im a coder too so i may get into the short cut stuff more. I prefer mouse shortcuts but they are a dying breed, can barely find a mouse with tons of cool short cut keys. subbed.

    Nice review, do like this keyboard. Sounds good stock as a "gamer keyboard". Not sure about the other keyboards mentioned at the end. If someone is looking at this they have got to have narrowed down choices to low latency wireless 60% with arrow keys. Not sure what other keyboards would fit that tbh

    Hi Alistair 😊👋. Great product and terrific review. It’s great to see a 60% keyboard featuring the arrow keys 🥳👍! Very sleek looking product and extraordinary battery life which is a awesome to see! The low latency wireless for me is the making this the ultimate keyboard for me. Loving this product 🥰. Thank you Alistair for emptying my wallet 🤣😂 hehe. Cheers buddy 🍻

    Can the rgb be controlled thru razer synapse? Coolemaster is compatible with razer according the site. Just asking cause the new mini from razer is overpriced

    What happens if you set it on Bluetooth mode but keep the cable connected to the computer?
    Also, what happens if it's on wired mode and you press the buttons for connecting to a wireless device?

    Just got hold of a SK622 myself, and I love the keyboard for comfort. but i've noticed a few issues with it so far. Mainly on the software side, masterplus just will not run in a nice manner. It seems to just hang after every single action in the app. Great hardware, but my goodness the software support for it is terrible.
    And it's necessary to download it as it's the way you can update the firmware on the keyboard. Before updating the firmware I got lagging and delayed input via bluetooth that rendered the keyboard unusable and it wasn't much better over USB cable either. Once the latest firmware was applied it seemed to sort itself out.
    The short right shift is.... frustrating. If you want to type ? for example. I am sure I will get used to it over time but when you miss that shift and actually end up hitting up when typing a large word document, that is incredibly frustrating.
    Typing speed wise, I find the shallow activation height really nice, easy to hit my usual wpm using it.
    Ooh one more thing people probably need to be aware of is the USB-C connection. That port is inset into the keyboard casing just a little bit. all the USB-C cables i've tried so far from Anker, MoPow, Samsung and an iPower cable have been too large on the end to fit inside of the casing of the keyboard and in far enough to actually power the device. So keep the supplied cable in fine fettle or you'll likely have to hunt high and low to find one that fits properly again.

    if it had AA batteries, I'd get it. It has everything I'm looking for: size, mechanical, RGB (with legend shine-through), on-the-fly customization, wireless/wired. Only thing I don't want is a built-in battery. I need user-replaceable batteries (just use rechargeables).

    • @TYNEPUNK
      @TYNEPUNK ปีที่แล้ว

      yeh thats an odd choice. mind if I ask why u need that though? I think plugging it in is a pain too actually.

    • @caspadan
      @caspadan ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@TYNEPUNK I just don't like built-in batteries. They die eventually / lose performance. I'd much rather use rechargeable AA batteries - and when they start degrading, just go to almost any store and get replacements. It's the same with my mice - Logitech G700s/G604 and Mad Catz DWS (all use AA batteries). But I think I'm in the minority actually.

      Not sure if you figured out the issue by now; but for me, there were two possible reasons:
      1. There was an existing macro key for the Windows key on the keyboard - so I deleted it.
      2. The keyboard is on MacOS mode, which I believe doesn't allow the Windows key to function as intended.
      Hopefully I'm not too late!

    I bought this. But my windows 10 hates it.
    First i messed up with the MacOS and WIN switch so i had no idea what the problem was
    Now the Start button wont work and on the On-Screen keyboard the FN key is on the wrong side----
