TR1R: Palace Midas Glitchless Speedrun -

Palace Midas was a nightmare to run because there are too many apes!! (and that lion). The majority of my runs ended in the box room with the lever, and if you do make it through cleanly, there are still so many difficult jumps ahead D=
This run I got stuck but I decided to just full send it. At 2:43 I performed a curve jump over the edge. The trigger down below drops the sand without having to move the block.
For the rest of the level I was very lucky to not have to deviate from my lines, and the push at the end was really good to get me around the corner quickly.
My original goal was a 7:07 because my best runs at the time were a low 7:08. So I was pleasantly surprised and happy when I saw a 7:06! This proves that even a 7:05 is possible.

Wow! Impeccable job. You did everything so smoothly. Faultless. Some of that jumping was crazy. I will use this as a guide, I'm trying to do a - Speed Run, No Medi Packs and Less than 80 saves in one playthrough. This level is next up.
