When you teach him sit, the "stay" is implied. Don't use both terms. Also teach him 1 word commands. Nice looking pup. I love my 8 yr old chocolate, a duck retrieving machine
We have a chocolate lab puppy and his name is Chocolate. Woody and Chocolate look the same and I love watching woody coz my Chocolate acts the same way ❤. Lots of love to Woody.
Are crates just really popular in the USA or something ? And do you actually lock them in at night ? I understand training them for travel etc but as an everyday thing for a non working indoor pup is there a reason this is really popular in the states ? I have an open front dog kennel for outside if they need to self soother but in the house at night just have a dog bed. Am I missing something ?
Please feed your dog a better diet than kibble. Yes get mad but hyper processed food is not going to help this gorgeous boy’s health and we want him around for a long long time💜
To be fair it's actually pretty big.The dog can get up and move around a bit so it's not as bad as I thought. He's comfortable and most of the time he's asleep and not bothered because it's part of his routine and when his Ma and Pa get up in the morning there's always an avalanche of love coming his way. He isn't sad in his crate.Yo him it's just how things are.
Crating your dog is a normal thing. As an American I thought it was cruel, but it actually becomes the dog's 'safe space' and its home. At night when I call my dog (or if I'm going out for any length of time) she comes bounding down the hall into the bedroom and happily gets in the crate. But when a dog is a pup and in training it keeps it in a limited space and not chewing up your house while you sleep. It also teaches it to hold its business to the morning so you can bring it outdoors to relieve itself and not leave a surprise to step in at that 3AM bathroom trip you might make.
No it’s not - our lab takes himself off to his crate when he needs some alone time - it’s his safe space/den. Dogs are denning animals. I was unsure at the start but he’s happy in there and safe

I bought a slow eat bowl. My Choc Lab just tipped it over on purpose and food was gone in ten seconds!
🤣
Labs are great for women that live alone, they are protecting
Do you sometimes cook for him, too?😊🎉❤
Yes good question. Dried feed is not a good choice.

Great video! Is Woody an American lab or English ?
❤❤❤
What is the purpose of the design of the food dish?
To help him eat slower.
He needs some toys

I don’t get it, why in America do you put your dogs in cages at night?
lol I was thinking the same thing.

It's animal cruelty plain and simple
