I own this wonderful Pioneer masterpiece. Unfortunately the W Meters don't work and it's almost impossible to find them. However the sound quality is the same: wonderful.
Check out some of the high end amps from Onkyo, Luxman, and Yamaha. Still built rock solid with great sound. Priced too match, but Im sure the M90 in its day wasn't cheap.
Roger what do you mean there was a time.i have a few highend stereos 30 years old and still going.good thing is there wont be a law saying you cant use an old stereo like you could use an old car with a combustion engine in the future.
Bellissimo, quando la PIONEER era la PIONEER, senza invidiare niente a nessuno, anche il LOGO era più bello, speriamo che ritorni quella di un tempo........con il SERVER N70A sembra che sia sulla buona strada, anche con la replica del GIRADISCHI Technics SL1200 ha fatto un'ottima scelta. Bravi. MAGARI RIFACESSERO QUESTE QUI DI REPLICHE, li comprerei subito.

Io non capirò mai una cosa: se un prodotto è valido in tutti i sensi ed anche esteticamente bellissimo perché toglierlo dal catalogo ?. A che pro' ogni 2 anni rinnovare i modelli addirittura peggiorandoli. Qualcuno me lo spieghi. Avevo il lettore PIONEER PD95, e feci la cazzata vendendolo, era oltre che bello e ben suonante un carro armato dentro e fuori. Da lì in poi sono andati peggiorando sempre più.
I've an old pair of Pioneer speakers, Prologue S-200. Lost the service manual in order to figure out some info. I've contacted Pioneer, they told me they don't have the service manual for those... What the hell??? is anyone able to help me out, I find nothing on the Internet about those speakers
RIP pioneer from the makers of Kuro plasma, HPM 100 and elite series HIFI to almost nobody. This is what happens when companies fail to innovate. There were bunch of japanese companies producing high quality but similar products which are now defucunt and have lost their market share to use and through chinese goods.
and today all you need to good sound is smartphone with good audio quality + flac files in it, pair of decent active (powered) speakers and some regular rca cables to connect phone and speakers.
Steve Carlsson Maybe if you see those audio equipment before listening to them (visual bias). That's why there's ABX blind listening test complementing technical measurements.

There was a time when hifi was build like a rock, and the sound was amazing. These days are gone.
