I mean, SWaiN and VaiN are still pronounced properly off the top of my head with the 'ay' sound, so I personally think it's just a wink and a nod to Minecraft that it can be pronounced "Mine" instead of being the intended pronunciation.
This whole somnium reminded me of the "Game" dungeon from Persona 4, Mostly the atmosphere and the graphics. The music too. I think I restarted this somnium the most though due to mistakes. This was the first one I ran out of time in too. That and the Factory somnium.
Loved this theme, this somnium is super cool :) Didnt believe iris the first time around tho admittedly that was because I thought she was either lying or there were two of them... which wasnt neccesarily wrong :D That being said, the best part about this is the adorable sound that Aiba makes when she is running her feet make this sweet poink sound, its adorable :D
This somnium and Iris' thought processes are unrealistic and childlike in hindsight, but if you end up playing this route first like I did, it seems a lot more plausible considering Uchikoshi made Zero Escape and I didn't know about the other routes
Yes me too, they put a lot of references of timelines, that I was getting excited maybe with the insomnium you can change time, but I like the way they did it, I didn't predict it at all, which is something I like
@@hotmango5647 dude that's the best part. This route is literally uchikoshi making fun of himself by making the player believe it's gonna turn out like his previous games then throwing a curve ball. Normally, this wouldn't even count as a red herring because of how nonsensical and unrealistic it is, but since it's uchikoshi, fans would find themselves believing iris. There's even the tangents into supernatural and conspiracy stuff like in the nonary games
I love the combination of the loud and dramatic theme with the calm and upbeat theme, it really shows off the duality of Iris's brain where you have the kind and caring but mischievous Iris who loves to sing, dance, and play games, but there's also the paranoid Iris who knows that she's going to die but believes that it will be at the hands of a massive secrete cult that controls the world.
Honestly, it's one of those times when copyright makes things ridicilous. Like, we all get what game is being parodied here, yet everyone is forced to pretend it's some other game with different name cuz "copyright issues".

This game actually made me feel some type of way for a fucking choice. I didn't believe iris in my first run because I thought that she was bullshitting me hard. And I felt bad as shit for it thinking if I should listen to a artificial intelligence (Aiba) or a real person who's manipulative, a witcb and kinda cute.
@@Fodimin yeah i know. im telling you to not take a fictional video game as an instruction manual for how to interact with people who have delusions. a schizophrenic person isnt going to keel over and die when you realitycheck them, theyre just going to start being afraid of you and youll be reinforcing the delusion. thats how it works in real life
The way they handled the split in this Somnium is kinda ass, it took me like 3 or 4 full Psyncs to figure out where exactly split starts, unlike any other Psync.
....did you try....paying attention? That tends to do it. The game maps out the somnium, gives you clues on how to advance and more. If it says "Mental Lock #1: Do the thing" and there are TWO ways to achieve this(again, the map will give you an idea on where to begin), that's the split. Aiba makes it clear where the split is: play along with Iris or don't.
