Community Shaders make the game look great, run great, feel great, and feel more immersive, especially when combined with other visual mods. Also, the shader cache used by Community Shaders is not even 0.1% of the total size of unmoddied Skyrim, which really surprised me. The light limit was not a thing that I was aware of until having to deal with it when trying to use Enhanced Lighting and Effects. I have sometimes experienced some what I can only describe as "ghost ember flares" very briefly when running through new areas, which I think is Community Shaders rapidly compiling new lighting and shading information when you enter certain areas quickly (i.e. sprinting or running) with the mod on for the first time but never occurs again. It is rare but is so brief that you may not even notice it. It also seems to be more rare with each update. Community Shaders seems to also pair well with Realistic Lighting Overhaul. In addition, this is not one of those things where if you don't use an NVIDIA GPU that you are just screwed. AMD GPUs seem to be fully supported as well. Doesn't have anywhere near the lighting options that enbseries has...so hard to make a comparison. The environmental modding that can be done per weather on enb is so much more advanced than this. Hopefully we see that capability come out and have it optimized. IT does seem the competition is driving Boris to optimize enb a bit.
Hi, would you happen to know which setting controls the lighting of NPCs? Mine seem to glow blueish-white whenever it rains. I'm hoping I can adjust this... unless they have all recently learnt a weather-protection spell! :-) Thanks for any advice.
The mod page description says it is only compatible with version 1.6.1130 but may be compatible with other versions, has anyone tested it with skyrim 1.6.1170 ?
It looks great but can I switch to Community Shaders mid game? I can remove the enbseries folder, inis and dlls, no problem, but what about mods like Water for ENB or ENB Complex Grass or the Weathers or Lux mods? These mods problably have plugins that shouldn't be uninstalled mid game, no?
Tried to make enb work for me (ok...im a noob but I've tried 😊) but it feels so counter intuitive to me....now community shaders installed, and it seems more logical ... or maybe it's what I want it to be....could be the last one...... Not sure if I'll get a response but did you use a reshade as well in this video or is it purely CS? Reshade can look nice but I've always preferred tweaking settings on my own, but I'm not sure if my game could look as good as what's shown in this video without a reshade
Hey. I have a question with this mod, it compile shaders for like almost 5 minutes whenever I start the game, i already saved and turned on the shader cache in the settings but it still happen..
What grass/water/weather/lighting mod(s) go well with community shaders for a low end system? Do shaders replace mods like elfx or lux? My specs are ryzen5 processor with 8gb Ram and a 560x card. I was playing without enb/reshade so far and using texture mods based on the Step modification guide(cathedral landscapes, weather etc).
They dont replace lux or ELFX so u should be able to use them with them. But grass lighting is already apart of the mod. My personal sugesstion is sub surface skins. And the DLSS mod as well to increase performance. Get some good landscape overhauls, some that are light on the system.
I have made many screenshots, and get many questions what ENB im using, and when i say, its not an ENB, its a reshade with ray tracer and community shader, the only answer i get is, impossible, you are kidding me ^^
RIght now yes, there's still a bunch of features exclusive to ENB like particle lights, wet surface simulation after rain, subsurface scattering for skin and other objects, image based lighting and more. That being said, Community Shaders should get similar or better features over time. as their team is working on things like physically based rendering.
There is. Some features of ENB like ENB light is not implemented on Community Shaders but it is very likely to be added on near future. As for overall graphics it depends. Community Shaders looks almost a nice as if not nicer than some ENB's out there with better performance. Use a reshade like Dareni's reshade and you have a beautiful game. But if you are gonna compare current Community Shader with something like Rudy for NAT then Rudy obviously wins here but also costs high performance.
love it, ENB make my fps drop to 40.. Does anyone know how to try community shader and reshade without complete deleting ENB(maybe just enable with mo2)? i want to compare before i decide.

Okay but how are you getting parallax to work on all those textures?
Hi, would you happen to know which setting controls the lighting of NPCs? Mine seem to glow blueish-white whenever it rains. I'm hoping I can adjust this... unless they have all recently learnt a weather-protection spell! :-) Thanks for any advice.
Excellent!! Have you used a reshade preset for this showcase?
No reshade but its a great option to use with community shaders
thank you!@@SoftGamingOfficial
The mod page description says it is only compatible with version 1.6.1130 but may be compatible with other versions, has anyone tested it with skyrim 1.6.1170 ?
Are you using reshade along with community shaders in this video? if so which one?
Hi no reshade in this video. Just community shaders
Hi, thanks for the great video! A quick question: Which tree mods you're using in the vid?
Just Traverse the ulvenwald
Tried to make enb work for me (ok...im a noob but I've tried 😊) but it feels so counter intuitive to me....now community shaders installed, and it seems more logical ... or maybe it's what I want it to be....could be the last one......
I started modding to make my game look better while playing, but I'm starting to enjoy the figuring thing out for itself.
i installed the community shaders but the game won't work when installed but when you disable the game start, anyone know how to fix?
Not sure if I'll get a response but did you use a reshade as well in this video or is it purely CS? Reshade can look nice but I've always preferred tweaking settings on my own, but I'm not sure if my game could look as good as what's shown in this video without a reshade
No reshade, just CS
Should try PBR of community shaders
Do I still need to make the changes to the skyrim ini? I don't see it listed on the mod page anymore
hi,nice video.....do you use the reshade with or without light mods like lux, evlas, etc?
I'm using lux with no reshade in the video but you can add a reshade if you want
What mods are being used for the parallax part? it's so noticeable.
what's your character model mod?
I have all the mods you mentioned
I have Rudy ENB
But there are no shadows for the fire
Hello you guys ! Does anyone know if community shaders wiil be able for starfield any time? 🤔 Best regards
My parallax textures are constantly flickering, like it’s turning on and off, any fixes?
Stupid questiom, how to toggle On and Off with the keyboard? ;D
Are the Community Shaders compatible with the FSR/DLSS mods? That'd help with the performance impact.
Hi yes they are and recommended
Does this mod have dynamic interior and exterior shadow casting?
if you don't mind me asking, which Whiterun overhaul are you using?
This is my whiterun setup th-cam.com/video/nr3u2pCZwcI/w-d-xo.html
I have made many screenshots, and get many questions what ENB im using, and when i say, its not an ENB, its a reshade with ray tracer and community shader, the only answer i get is, impossible, you are kidding me ^^
Is everything in this video showing community shaders like at the beginning? Or was that a ENB? Cause if that’s community shaders than I’m in 100%!
Yes all community shaders, except for one part in the performance section
Can i play this mods in skyrim se 1.5.9,or i need back to AE?
Russian ENB vs Ukranian Shaders
The great slav war has arrived to Skyrim.
😂
Doodlez is Ukrainian? Oh wow this entire competiton makes it even more dramatic 🤣
Hi. Genuine question. Why does it look like your fps are tanking even at 90 fps?
Most likely because of the recording software he is using.
My eyes are super untrained for graphics but is there actually any difference between using ENBs and community shaders?
I think it's performance in this case
What is that combat mod to fight like that and dodge?
And I just need a good tutorial. I don't get how to run it, even when I uninstalled ENB.
love it, ENB make my fps drop to 40.. Does anyone know how to try community shader and reshade without complete deleting ENB(maybe just enable with mo2)? i want to compare before i decide.
I must have done something wrong 'cause my game definitely doesn't look as good as that :(
That's amazing in term of fps gain compare to ENB. But with community shaders my night sky are grey and not dark anymore. Any solution for that?
try reshade and play around with the effects or look for a preset
Try lowering brightness in game.
This isnt supposed to be a tutorial, is it?
hello, which mode are you using to have that whiterun stone road ?
It's GGs impoverished whiterun
how do you up the resolution in this game idk how to make the game match my monitor
If you have SSE display tweaks you can adjust it in the ini file. Otherwise in the skyrim launcher settings pretty sure
Someone advise me to use community shaders and see if it will work for my computer instead of enb because enb kept crashing my game on launch so i hope this works for me
are all of these supposed to show up in the load order? none of these show up despite being downloaded and other mods like skyui showing up
In your mod manager? They should do yea
