I live here and have never missed one.....experience of a lifetime every year❤
oh you lucky man ,iam from Austria i am jelose
The basic difference between Moto GP in Italy and TT on the Isle of Mann is that GP races take place on an enclosed track, because they have to, and TT takes place on (closed) public roads, because they can.
Around 288? deaths on this circuit including riders officials on corners and spectators, there been doing it on this island over 100 years, it's situated between Liverpool and Dublin in the Irish sea , ferries leave Liverpool, Viking ancestors run the island, oldest government on the planet, is officially a country puts athletes in Olympics has own currency is a tax haven, cheers bro
Pure road racing at its finest 👍🥃🇦🇺 long may it live on. And blessed those who have passed
Died not passed!
At least the local council fills in the pot holes before the races start.
132mph is average speed.. from start to finish.. imagine that
136+ mph average speed last year by Peter Hickman. There’s a video of it .Insane stuff .🏍️😎
@@aidancrowley9452it's called peter hickman chin camera pov 😊
I work in retail on the Isle of Man and am gearing up the shop / garage for TT 2024. Population of the island doubles
It’s the TT baby most mental road race in the WORLD, you have got to be mental and respect and thoughts to those who never go back to their families from this race
Thanks for this. I think there has been 245 deaths over the years. The Osle Of Man is an Island just off England,Wales and Ireland.
Old number, 266 as of 2023.
These are no simple numbers - These are ambitions, efforts, hopes, dreams... These are 266 whole universes dedicated to the adventure of life
@@JOKERLE21 Beautifully Poetic,My Friend..
isle of man 2024 starts in 2 weeks its a island between england and ireland in the irish sea
I was lucky enough to be there in 1992 my dad worked on oil rigs with a Manx man from Isle of Man and he invited us over for the whole two wks of the TT is was probably one of the most amazing experiences in my life , made even better by our host whom had lived there all his days and knew every inch and where to take us for the best experience ever . He had a beautiful thatched roofed cottage ( house with straw roof) on the island . The bikes are so so much faster nowadays so would love to go back again and get those feeling back
Unlike many other races the IOM TT races are the riders are against the clock not each other.
All the riders start off individually and are timed.
Jenny Tinmouth is the first and only female to have raced in the British Superbike Championship, she is the female lap record holder at the Isle of Man TT at 119.945mph and is proud to hold two Guinness World Records for these achievements.
Welcome to the Most Dangerous Motorcycle Race on Earth! The Isle of Mann is a Classic!! And yes ,riders have died riding this race.
If your a bike man then put it on your bucket list, nothing and I mean nothing can give you the exhilarating of the TT more than standing beside that track
This is the biggest and the best race in the world. These guys have superhuman skills and have to think as quickly as they drive. On some very long straights, the helicopter filming them can't keep up!
The racing on the track is MOTOGP. Kind of the Formula1 of motorcycle racing. You should check that out too.
The reason there is no protection is because what could protect you? These bikes are going 200mph and if they hit a concrete wall they are going through it. These races are done in areas that you just cant set up and tear down 4-foot-thick steel walls (Thats what it would take). People have wrecked and people have been killed, but you are supposed to set yourself in a viewing area that is somewhat safe. For example, a straight area.
from it’s beginning in 1907 over 250 riders and SPECTATORS have died during these races
That 132mph is the AVERAGE speed- meaning between 10mph corners & 200mph straightaway speeds. Long live the oldest/best Motorsports race in the world! Cheers to the men & women racers of the IOM TT!
250 have died, and only one year (1985) is the only year there have been no fatalities
Isle of man,off England, is the best
This is a man's sport. Riders die nearly every year.
Professional riders are banned from TT racing because of the danger . There is high def slow mo footage that is insane it shows the extreme flex these motorcycles are put through on the Isle of Mann !
Strange because many get paid to race. That makes them professional
Best race on Earth
That Indianapolis race is designed for bikes with smooth tarmac protection for spectators , bro look up isle of man onboard lap it shows you what the rider seas your onboard with the rider and do a full lap and see what they see it's mental bro
Isle of Man is between Ireland and west Brittan. Its part of the UK and has a large amount of Viking ancestry. The TT race is or used to be the most dangerous in the world.
It is not part of the UK. It is a self governing crown dependency.
The best riders in the world
It's considered the most dangerous motorcycle race, but I believe it's the most dangerous road race.
The other racing that's nearly as crazy is WRC Rally racing, especially, "Group B".
Pikes peak might be second most dangerous with the diminishing oxygen as you arce to 14000 feet.
The TT is with out doubt the most dangerous. There would be more deaths if it wasn't fot the doctors on fire blades and the helicopter evacuation.
In some ways the TT is more dangerous than just riding a bike for pleasure. Crash remotely anywhere unnoticed alone at over 40 mph you are in the words of chances and luck.
they are beast
Can you imagine crashing at those speeds on those normal everyday streets there's no run offs or gravel traps there bro just walls , trees and fences
05:26 San Piero, Italy and Indianapolis, USA are professional racing tracks - it is just for comparising the space and speed to the TT locations
I’ve been there. It’s crazy.
The TT is the world's deadliest race & spectators have been part of those statistics. The fastest lap averaged slightly over 136 mph. Top speed on the straight aways can reach 220 mph.
Top speed is around 220-230 mph average of 130 mph 6 laps of the 37 mile circuit. The oldest m/c race in the world, starting in 1900s
If you crash you have brick and concrete walls to protect you from falling over a cliff.
Thats 2 different races . The TT is always on the Isle of Man. Very dangerous race. Yes people have died doing this race. But the whole island comes to stop during the race and people know exactly what they can and can't do. The people off the Isle of Man are very proud of this race.
I think the italian racetrack clips were put in to show and prove the TT racers were going just as fast on normal roads.
Virtually no prize money. A few die but they love it. Isle of man TT
The clue is in the title my guy, island of man. 🇬🇧🙏🏻🤣🤣🤣
The Isle of Man is the oldest motorcycle race in the world and the most dangerous race they race around june every year there's been over 245 deaths check Peter Hickman fastest lap on board camera to give you an Idea how fast they go plus have a look at sidecar racing that's is madness isle of man is a small island between UK and Ireland 🇬🇧
I believe it is now 269 deaths now
Watch Peter Hickman chin camera lap.the lap record one is there. There also another not at race speed where he showing off a bit. As for the risk - yes there is. Riders and everyone else. You just gotta decide if the risk is worth it to u
Riders start the race at 10 second intervals so as to stop to many being in the same place at the same time.
Some of the crashes are spectacular!!!!!
Some unfortunately are also deadly
1 or 2 may die each year
Even some spectators die occasionally
It's isle of man in the UK and it's one of the oldest races takes place every year
The Isle of Man is not part of the UK but rather a self-governing Crown Dependency, like Guernsey and Jersey
In the "isle of man TT" there has been at least 1 Rider Fatality, EVERY year since it's inception. Many years have seen Multiple Rider Fatalities, this is literally the pinnacle Moto GP Tourist Trophy Race this is like competing in 3 Iron Man Triathlons in the same day then immediately wrestling a 12 foot Crocodile afterwards. You'd need a seperate vehicle to transport the enormous set of "Brass Ba*ls" you need to even consider signing up for this. Just sayin
And there are also fatalities among the stewards, service personal and spectators
No. There were no fatalities in 1982, the only year in which races have been held without any since 1937.
The TT is a rad race. Roads also have a camber crossing tha camber on the bends requires nerves and skill as the bikes ballsnce changes.
this video also has footage that isn't from the TT race which is only held on the isle of Man in the Irish sea between England and Ireland
check out irish road warriors and the worlds deadliest race. good incite to how these guys prepare
Isle of man no speed limit
Check out the documentary on the Isle of man it is interesting
They get over 200 mph in this race
If you can find it watch TT3D: Closer to the Edge (2011).
Wtf! Is the prize is my question!😂
Not very much . In 2022 the top prize was £18,000.
During the entirety of the isle of man face from its first ever race until now over 200 riders have died there's only ever been one race meet where a rider hasn't died it's expected that every year at least one person will die it's crazy but amazing to watch the speed and skill these riders achieve
So about 2 a year which is a fraction of those that die on Everest annually
There are many spectators that have died. 🇬🇧
Not many bike riders can say they have done over 200mph down the local High street.
218MPH top speed
They showed Italy to let you see the crowd spacing!!!!
The isle of man is a traditional road race real roads real citizens free to stand where they want!!!
Unfortunately not so much anymore. More restrictions each year
259 fatalities since 1907
some of them clips are in Ireland not all are tt and the speed went up to 229mph was the fastest the last i heard and its on an island between Ireland and the uk
7 seconds was enough.
From the grid someone dies. Purest motorsport
been there done that
I truly think there's no way to survive if they do crash!
245 deaths over the years including a few spectators. They so provide a Cemetery along the route.
There's video of a racer who slides off the track and cartwheels down the hill over a stone wall . He's going for it and loses the front tyre . He made a successful comeback in the following years .
Watch Group B Rallying next.
Top speed: 203 MPH
Avr. Speed: 132 MPH.
Crazy..
when he says 132mph that's average speed they do over 200 mph.
On average 1 rider per year dies at the Isle of Man TT !! The most dangerous road race on the planet!!!
Top speed is over 200mph on normal street roads it's not a made for bikes track just normal roads
You are not tripping bro
Hi Big Dreamz, these guys are not racing. their just late for work.
The track videos are Moto GP. The rest are from Isle of Man... public roads 😮 Spread the love 🐶😎🇺🇸
There's also footage of the North West 200 from Northern Ireland, Kells road race, which is in Southern Ireland, and the Southern 100, from the Billown course. A smaller course in the South of the Isle of Man. Most TT riders also compete in these.
You know it ain’t no brothas riding
"Went through like a torpedo". Torpedoes are actually nowhere near as fast. Just FYI.
Check out Group B Rally racing.
How many have died on Everest since 1950,
242 people have died so far
Yes 4 died this years race
You should look up side car racing their
Been going over 100 yrs and more then 200 hundred deaths
Yes spectators have been killed as well from accidents
Isle of man government allows the race its the only place in the world you can race like this
As you seen other in stadium's race tracks
I do believe it brings in the half the islands revenue as runs for two weeks
So they get inundated we teams and spectators and everyone knows from teams riders and spectators
You could be killed and its your choice to be their no one else's
I doubt it'll ever stop as long as riders want to race it
Cheers mate 🦘🇦🇺👍
Top speed can reach 200 mph
Nice reaction. You are correct about danger to spectators, there have been many killed over the years.
No there haven't, but there have been many members of the public killed whilst riding the circuit
@@henrypullar9042Thats just not true, there have been many killed as a spectator.
@@alexharbison4411 how many "spectators" have died this century and please include the court cases against the IOM government for liability
Everyone reacts to this video because of the title, but it is very overrated and besides the TT it contains clips of many other races and even MotoGP. If you really want to react to a great video, there's the clip of Peter Hickman's fastest ever record lap... It's an on board and it takes your breath away. Try that next time 😉
I hate this mess of a compilation video. It perports to show people who have never had the opportunity to actually attend the TT what it is like to be there. It seems someone who basically didn't give a toss assembled an almost random selection of motorcycle racing videos, many of which are from the Irish road racing scene and even the International circuit championships, saw that they had reached 10 minutes and said "job done.
i don't like this video, it's sped up in places, totally unnecessary, it's scary enough without it
OVER 220 HAVE DIED, SINCE 1909. 2023, 7 DIED , 3 RIDERS 4 SPECTATORS.
It is Not crazy it is absolutely brilliant and exciting, your 2nd amendment i than going to the United States, and I have been to the United States on a three week holiday and I never went back.
I owned 9 street bikes since 75'. Followed UK racing and Street Fighter Magazine. This event was Isle of Mann TT, Mann with double N. Mandela Effected to single N around 2019.
You can still find post cards with double N.
